Trump: Bush Lied About WMD, 9-11 Bush’s Fault
Cowboy Byte ^ | February 14, 2016 | Patriot Tribune

Trump certainly sound like Obama when he was talking about George Bush. If there weren’t WMD’s how did Saddam Hussein use them? Why did we keep finding left overs for many years to come? Yes, Saddam exaggerated what he had, but there was enough WMD’s to worry about. Plus I don’t know anyone even on the liberal side that blames Bush for 9-11. That was just way off. This really could be Trump’s downfall.

Check it out:

Donald Trump and Jeb Bush argue over Iraq, 9/11 and weapons of mass destruction at Saturday night’s debate moderated by CBS News. Trump addresses comments in made in 2008 where he said he was not surprised then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t try to impeach Bush over Iraq.

“The World Trade Center came down during the reign of George Bush,” Trump said to a strong reaction from the audience. “That’s not keeping us safe.”

“George Bush made a mistake. We can make mistakes. But that one was a beauty. We should have never been in Iraq. We have destabilized the Middle East,” Trump said.

“You call it whatever you want. I will tell you. They lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction and there were none. And they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction,” Trump ripped Bush.

Well than the correct response should have been Bill Clinton failed to deal with the emerging Al Quida threat which materialized on 9/11 under the Presidency of George W. Bush who than took every effort to keep Americans safe... Did you hear any of that or just another LIBERAL bashing a Conservative....

"And actually, Bill Clinton had their sights on him and then didn't pull the trigger," Trump continued. "If they pulled the trigger you'd probably have the World Trade Center the way it used to be. And by the way, most importantly, with all the thousands of lives that have been lost and affected so gravely. So we have to be smart." --Donald Trump

"You know Bill Clinton made a lot of mistakes on Bin Laden, and I think he should apologize too. But I was at the wheel. It happened on my watch. I was warned. I didn't listen. And I am sorry. I really am. I could have done more to prevent these tragedies." -- George W. Bush

Did you not live through those years with Liberals doing everything in their power to destroy George W. Bush?

I did.

I should have clarified that the Excel I had was specifically for beheadings in the ME.

It got so it made me sick. There were SO MANY.

But now? With ISIS butchering and gutting little kids, too? That’s a whole ‘nuther thing. Then....there’s SAUDI.

Trump is after the cranky populist segment. They are usually poor and stupid, so they blame the rich for their predicament. Sanders has that down to the artform, so Trump can forget about their support in the general. Can't out-progressive the democrats.

Sadly, the Left doesn't have a monopoly on low-information voters. Our side has its share as well.

At the worst, you can say that Saddam “no longer” had WMD but was still claiming to have them. They certainly were there to kill thousands of Kurds and to use against Iran. The whole anti GWB tirade by Trump last night came straight from the progressive hate machine. The tirades about 9/11 are similarly nonsense. Yet the Trump supporters will adopt and repeat them as true.

I know what you mean.
I’ve been back and forth with him several times.

He’s got some explaining to do for sure.

Ok. Maybe so. All I know is after a shoulder injury I cut back on the amount of weights a bit and still have been able to maintain what I have. Maybe a slight growth.

The Saudis are the only friends we have over there. American oilmen (Texans) arrived there for good in the 1920's for the "awl." They are still there. There had been American geologists there for a while looking for probable petroleum sites. Boy, did they strike oil or what.

The Saudis have an estimated 200+ more years of petroleum to pump out of their land and ocean.

The oil companies [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudi_Aramco] formed a company called the Arabian-American Oil Company, ARAMCO. The King of Saudi Arabia had SOLD his petroleum rights (and natural gas) to this company. They used to BURN off all the natural gas and just sell the petroleum.

It wasn't until the early 1980's that the natural gas was collected, liquefied, bottled and sold. Thus began the first LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) plant was built and running. That's when WE were over there.

In 1982 the King BOUGHT BACK those petroleum and natural gas rights. It cost him a ton of petro-dollcars and he probably took it out of "chump change."

SO, in 1983 money, King Fahd was getting ALL the money for the petroleum and it was estimated that he made 1 BILLION DOLLARS every two and a half days.

American folks have been there almost 100 years. That is where I decided to attend daily Mass, thanks to my Saudi boss. Yes, they have priests, a couple of vicars and a few reverends (who do ALL the denominations of Protestantism in ONE service).
Since Christian holy men are NOT allowed in Muslim Saudi Arabia the Saudis decided to call them "special teachers." So, that is their name. A priest by any other name still celebrates Mass.

The Saudis don't want any trouble with us or any of the West since the West is their biggest buyer/customer. Why would they?

Beheadings took place on Friday mornings, Friday being their holy day. They were public and rare. They only occurred when someone had committed murder. No trials, no attorneys, no stays of execution...nothing of what we have here. "You kill, you die." Extremely simple.

We were there five years and traveled to all the places that we KNEW we would NEVER, EVER visit when we returned home. We made a TON of money.
When we finally came home I KISSED the linoleum floor of the LAX airport...I was home!

Aging makes for MANY, MANY changes, none of which are good. But, that IS a part of life. You ARE doing what you can to stay as "even" as you can. Good for you.

“What part of that sentence is a lie?”

If you don’t know, then go read some history. GWB was not all-knowing, but he also was not asleep at the watch. I despise Code Pinko...and I despise Trump for joining them.

NO.... you are wrong! Bush was POTUS on September 11th, 2001. That's a fact. You can pretend all you want he was not.

Deal with it, and quit living in fantasy land.

You should not let your emotions cloud your thinking. It makes you look stupid.

Thank you.

You put into words what I’ve been feeling about TBP.

We’ve met personally. Makes my disappointment deeper.

Why did Democrats vote to support going after Hussein? Why did other countries have the same information? And why did they spend their treasure and have casualties as we did? Just for fun?

Trump blew it with that leftist propaganda. He’s so proud that he didn’t agree with the Iraq War that he’s forgotten that Hussein was shooting at our planes, not allowing inspectors in as was agreed, and sheltering jihadists in training camps. Is that what you expect Trump to do, ignore blatant violations? I wouldn’t have thought so, as I thought the attraction to Trump was his leadership.

Yes, Pres. Bush has his faults. What happened on 9/11 isn’t one of them, and that Obama would betray the Iraqis, the Kurds and those who died to rid the world of Hussein, his sons and their haven for radical Muslims isn’t either.

Thank you for your post.

I distinctly remember that accusation from that time. I need proof one way or the other.

Thanks again for your post. I don’t remember that, but I did read a book on Saddam’s regime that was horrific. Before he was deposed.
