Who is the moderator of tonight's South Carolina GOP debate? He's another not-so-moderate, card-carrying member of the D.C. media ruling class.
John Dickerson is the host of Face the Nation on CBS News, political director for the network, and a longtime political correspondent for Slate and Time magazine. If there were ever a poster boy for inside-the-Beltway journalism, Dickerson is it.
*snip*
Perhaps most notoriously, Dickerson penned a screed last year advising President Obama to "Go for the Throat!"; "declare war on the Republican Party;" and "pulverize" his political enemies over gun control, climate change, and immigration.
Dickerson took offense at conservatives who criticized his obvious bias. Instead, he condescendingly arguing that he was just offering "analysis."
And his liberal D.C. media friends backed him up, looking down their noses at dumb readers with "little brain activity" who couldn't comprehend how he was merely "deploying an uncustomary literary device to deliver information."

And .. this is just more of the RNC hit jobs on Trump and Cruz.
If you recall, in the 2nd FOX debate, Trump refused to show up because the RNC, Google and Megyn had 3 women who were going to be allowed to question the candidates. One of them was a LGBT, one was Mexican, and one was Muslim (I think).
It was a hit job .. and when Trump found out about it, that’s why he didn’t attend.
So the RNC attacks against Cruz and Trump are nothing new.
I’m not currently a member of the RNC, but I might join just so I can vote that jerk Priebus out.
Half of the problem with the current/recent republican party is the people that are chosen to represent the party.
Another (almost) half is the people who get elected.
As far as the news media goes, I’d like to see them required to report their political affiliation(s)/voting record and political contributions.
[should make a big boost to the independent rolls?]
Why didn’t anyone check this out BEFORE the debate? Is Prince that clueless??
Always a day late.. Dollar short.
No, but most GOP are, else they would know this event was planned to discredit Trump and Cruz to elevate Rubio and Jeb.
Why does the GOP continue to force their candidates to submit to this political waterboarding every 4 years?
just stupid !
Priebus is a mole, put there by the Democrats. Why else would he have a dozen debates to make the GOP candidates look bad trying to answer hostile questions from Democrat moderators?
His “For the record” comment should have been jumped on by one of the debaters.
Who is he accountable to? Not us. That’s how.
How can she possibly be in her forties - she looks like twenty-five...
So that they can "help" the public pick the moderate candidate. They don't call them the uniparty for no reason. Cruz supporters need to realize that their new found allies (NR, WSJ, etc) are not behind their candidate. They are anti Trump and as soon as they take him out, they will go after Cruz with both barrels until they get their Jeb or Kasich. That way they can satisfy their corporate masters and get amnesty, sweetheart government supported business deals, etc.
“How can she possibly be in her forties - she looks like twenty-five...”
Perhaps because she comes from a culture that isn’t infested with feminism.
MM has had the number of The Mnistry Of Propaganda for years and does a good job exposeing them.
Good point
Being #2 will work fine for them, they are lazy $ grabbers content to allow dems to be in the highest office.
Sissy opportunists
I’m sure they knew his background and that was the reason they chose him.
The eGOP is doing “Suicide by voters” but are blind to it
I don't think the GOP can be redeemed by getting rid of Reince and repeat, he is doing exactly what they want.
Destroy conservativism and sit back and get a dem in the WH like the last two times. It’s so politically correct to help get a Negro (well 1/2) in the white house and now a woman.
They want to help so history will be nice to them.
Good luck with that.
They don't even seem to know that this country is intended to be a Constitutional Republic not a democracy imo.
You nailed it!
Very informative link, thanks.
I’ll have to finish reading it later and may post some of it on this thread.
It does cover the full spectrum of the GOP.
