It has been confirmed that Judge Scalia is dead in his room at a Texas resort. No eulogy, but the man will far more than deeply missed as a soldier holding the line for our Constitution.
Suddenly this election has become much more complicated and more important than even the most pessimistic among us had realized. We must use this election as a final and clearest of statements to the US Senate that will confirm Obama's next(and rapid) appointment to the Supreme Court; that THEY MUST NOT ACT TO CONFIRM Scalia's successor, UNTIL this election is over!!
We must come together now, no matter what candidate we support and FLOOD every senator's switchboard and mail box.
Contact every conservative network in your grass roots, be it Libertarian, Church,Legal Bureau, and,yes- Prayer Chain you know of.
IF, IF this Republican Senate will not find the guts to do this much, we must make them understand CLEARLY that they will from that moment ceased to exist, as a political party.
We dont even need to think of the Crap that Obama could push through the Court if they cave and betray this time.
Two things.
First is that no Obama nominee will get 60 votes period.
Second is that Roberts doesn’t need to hear any more cases this year unless he thinks it absolutely necessary, and then it will be a 4-4 balance court.
Bonus third thing: thank God Scalia was able to help rein in the EPA. Thank you, Justice Scalia, and God rest your soul. Amen

I dont trust the recommendation of anyone that rushes to pimp a candidate over the body of a man that just died.
Cruz is the MUST replacement for Scalia. Trump has said recently, on Hannity (I think), that he would name justices like Scalia and Thomas. It’s a terrible loss, but a great opportunity.
He’s arguably the frontrunner.
Tin foil and age aside the relevant authority ought to look good and hard at the circumstances of this death.

Look he was GW Bush's Solicitor in Texas was good was that in Bush's appointments.
In the unlikely event that the GOP Senate holds its ground and refuses to confirm (McConnell would never do that to his buddy) — watch for Obama to have the audacity to make a recess appointment, knowing that the GOP Congress will never fight him on it.
If this was a dem senate and a rep WH almost certainly to flip to dem....the dem senate would stall for a year until the new dem president could make an appointment. This case is sadly all to predictable....there will be a parade of idiot R senators, probably led by McCain, begging to be bipartisan and reach across the aisle and all that crap. The R senate will confirm any left wing hack the puke-in-chief nominates. It will be sickening and the results will be fatal for the country.

When I heard the news knowing exactly what it foretells for the SC and the country, I went on a rant the likes of which my wife said she has never seen. Along the way I slammed my hand into onto the counter and it is now wrapped in an ice pack with me praying I did not break it, it does hurt though.
