Club for Growth Action is claiming it took down Donald Trump in Iowa, and that it plans to do it again in South Carolina.

The group, which has been consistently attacking Trump's conservative credentials for months, plans to hit the real estate mogul with a $1.5 million ad buy in the state that will start running Saturday on TV and digital platforms.

Club for Growth cares more about whether the Capital Gains tax is 30% or 30% than whether this nation is going in the toilet.

IA was more of a tie than anyone of the top three being the winner.

After hearing the news that they would not be able to extort $1M from me, they went hostile w/ a series of incorrect & ill-informed ads.

Nothing conservative about the Club for Growth coming into my office and demanding a $1M contribution, which naturally, they did not get.

What exactly is “conservatism”?

It USED to be living a decent life and be a hard-working person who lived life according to Christian principles.
Now it means "cheapskate."

Those are Ted Cruz’s pals. Cruz keeps up his lies about Trump and Obamacare. Trump is for private insurance companies-not the damn Gov running your healthcare.

Nice Try. That was Ted Cruz’s pal’s trying to shake down Trump. And here is Trump’s insurance that Cruz says is no change. really? We get the same great plans Cruz and Congress plus Fed Employees have via AFGE.

The so called Club for Growth is another front for the GOPe/Neocon overseers of the Faux Conservative plantation. These overseers keep trying to trick/betray/control us to stay on/in their faux conservative plantations by selecting their ilk as our candidates.

In NH, Trump and his voters ignored them. His voters then voted big time for Trump. They won and broke the rules of the plantation masters by voting for Trump in NH. This is scaring our former neocon GOPe masters of the faux conservative plantations and their ilk, the Club for Growth.

It is wonderful to see this decades old, long standing corrupt political system disintegrating right before our eyes. This corrupted system hates working Americans. It rewards illegals and those who bring them into America to freeload off the American workers slaving in the faux conservative plantation.

We are seeing a paradigm shift with us selecting our Presidential Candidate, instead of the GOPe elites, who hate us, selecting our candidates.

There is a Black Swan event occurring with the daily suicidal self wrought destruction of the GOPe, Open Border Thugs, DC faux pundits, Faux News, ABCNNBCBS and the left wing fish wraps. Something similar may be happening with the DEMes.

Many of us are looking forward to seeing the broken bones, drying blood and entrails of the Lying GOP Open Borders Elite, The Club for Growth, their DC faux conservative pundits, their mediots, their phoney pollsters and focus groups, Faux, ABCNNBCBS, their hired tv and radio hacks strewn across the primary states as much as our victories in those states.

We have escaped from their faux conservative plantations. We are not going back for more lies, abuse and mistreatment from our former GOPe masters.

We will vote for Trump and destroy them!

Trump took down Trump in IA by not investing the time and effort in establishing a solid GOTV effort.

Good to see at least one person is paying attention. All this emotional infighting is a bore.

Cruz cultivated the ground effort in Iowa for months so his victory was no surprise.

That Trump did so well there with so little effort was a surprise.

Cruz's poor showing in New Hampshire is meaningless. He knew he didn't stand a chance there.

NC will tell us a lot about how this thing is going to shape up.

`Conservatism, Redux’

The IRS decides what qualifies as a 501(C) organization, even if such decisions are arbitrary and unfair. They have made their decisions without being held responsible for penalizing groups that fail their particular political litmus test, almost always conservative groups.

The Club For Growth and Free Republic are both political e-organizations. The CFG has assets, staff and brick-and-mortar facilities arguably greater than those available to FR. They both claim to be conservative.

The CFG has been found to satisfy the following requirements by the IRS in order to be considered an `exempt’ organization for federal tax purposes: Exemption Requirements - Political Organizations
“A political organization subject to section 527 is a party, committee, association, fund, or other organization (whether or not incorporated) organized and operated primarily for the purpose of directly or indirectly accepting contributions or making expenditures, or both, for an exempt function.
A political organization must be organized for the primary purpose of carrying on exempt function activities. A political organization’s primary activities must be exempt function activities. A political organization may engage in activities that are not exempt function activities, but these may not be its primary activities.
To be exempt, a political organization must file a timely notice with the IRS that it is to be treated as a tax-exempt organization.”

Here the Club for Growth, an unabashed advocate for open borders, cheap labor, a `globalist new world order’ infanticide, gay rights, “comprehensive immigration reform”—and all that comes with those things—is actively using its 501(C) status and large donations and considerable assets to support candidates it favors, Rubio or Cruz. As shown by this article, the CFG works to defeat a candidate it does not support—here, the leading Republican candidate, Donald Trump.

Free Republic works with the means available to it to defeat left-wing, liberal, “progressive” Democrat and moderate Republican (R-lite) candidates.

At the end of the day, if we are to believe the RNC—one is a conservative organization deserving of support while the other is filled with pajama-wearing hobbits and wacko birds. Death to the GOP-e.

Its funny to read your definition. you are not alone. We all define conservatism as meaning what we want it to mean but it is grossly undefined. Does it mean invading sovereign countries whe they have done nothing to us? Does it mean opening our borders and destroying our jobs with “Free trade” while they tax our products? Does it mean aiding and abetting a 20 trillion dollar debt that not even our great great grand children will ever pay? — All in the name on conservatism?

Are you calling Trump a “Cheap Skate” ? I must be misunderstanding since he spends his own money to give back to the country that made him while other just sell out to be told what to do and say to the the highest donors like whore.
