A federal judge has rejected the State Department's request to delay all of former Secretary Hillary Clinton's emails until the eve of the Super Tuesday primaries, issuing an order Thursday that instead makes the administration have to release the documents in four batches between now and the end of the month.
Judge Rudolph Conteras said 550 pages must be released by this Saturday, and then the department must release documents again on Feb. 19, Feb. 26 and, finally, all remaining documents on Feb. 29.
"The court expects that defendant will endeavor to avoid any additional delay," Judge Contreras said in a no-nonsense order that denied the State Department's hopes of pushing the entire production of 3,700 emails, spanning more than 5,000 pages, until Feb. 29.
Late Wednesday the State Department said it had unexpected found "additional resources" to speed up processing of the emails.
That announcement came a day after Judge Contreras had issued a verbal spanking to the department, questioning why it was taking an "unreasonably long" time to get the messages processed and released.

Its cute that the judge thinks his opinion matters.
These federal employees resisting the judge are criminals and should be fired.
Agreed, plus jailed for contempt.
They are making this judge look impotent. They have strung this out for MONTHS!! And they will continue to do just that unless this Judge starts putting people in jail!
Ha! Little do you know that the Former Twelfth Lady has a dossier on this judge that's 25 inches thick.
We should have a pool: what is the day/hour of the State Department’s announcement that there’s been a “computer glitch” that has resulted in the “loss” of all e-mail from the entire period of Mrs. Clinton’s tenure?
So, is the State Department still working off of the printed emails that Shrillary turned over, or do they have access to the electronic versions that the FBI has recovered from the server that was wiped, you know, with a cloth?
Its a shame the DOJ and WH will ignore this judge’s decision, because there is no law in DC right now.
“orders release of Clinton emails by monthâs end”
...or what?
And when they don’t are you sending someone to jail, Your Honor??
It’s time to quit pretending.
No one can be an American and a Democrat.
Democrats steal from Americans.
Is State Dept on the honor system when it comes to having to trust that they’re actually releasing ALL the stuff, or are they just releasing the tame ones to make it look like they’re trying?
Oh, there will be dire consequences if she ignores this Obama-appointed judge’s order.
I truly hope it’s not the honor system because they don’t have much. I believe the totals are known that have to be turned over but not sure.
Way back when we all woke up to the NYT article detailing the private email server, Hillary should have been perp-walked, her house surrounded with crime scene tape, and the entire contents carted out in evidence boxes.
Or what?
All emails for 10 years are backed up at the company I work at. It is a simple matter to export them. We do every week when someone gets a new pc and want the .PST files (Outlook file extension) copied over from the old pc to the new pc. If the gov’t wanted them my company could not delay for years giving excuses as clinton and obama do.
Considering that every email that clinton has is considered secret. She should have been locked up on day 1
