Just in: Jim Webb to announce decision on indie presidential bid tmrrw. Asked if he'll run, spox says: "I am as curious as anyone to know."

It would not be helpful to have a conservative Dem running who might draw votes from Trump, but on the other hand, any shattering of the Dems is good.
What’s this guy’s problem?
Born what?
He could be a big problem if he has some money behind him.
Not worried about it. He’s too conservative for the Left and too liberal for conservatives.
Webb is the only reasonably sane Democrat I have seen.
With a little bit of luck, maybe we’ll get John Anderson to take a fling at another third party run (believe or not, that bozo is still alive).
Sadly, Lar Daly is out of the picture for good (and if you pick up on that one, you’re pretty darn good).
Not if Bloomberg gets in ... maybe they can team up ...a pro-gunner and an anti-gunner ...
But still more conservative than Trump on most issues.
I think he has NO money behind him.
He washed out of the Democrat primary before most people knew he was running, what makes him think anybody wants him to be President?
Trump would probably read excerpts from one of his novels.
Jim Webb said in one of the debates that he wants to extend Obamacare to illegal alliens.
He is pro choice, pro gay marriage.. I just fail to see how he can be described as a conservative Dem as if that was even possible.
Yeah, he’s an open borders whacko, but so are a lot of the Republicans. He was the only one on that first debate stage who wasn’t certifiably insane.
Okay, if you’re talkin’ “Money in the Bank”, that’s a different story . . .
Jim Webb is a natural-born quitter.
Quit his job as Reagan’s Secretary of the Navy because he couldn’t handle it.
Quit the GOP to become an Independent.
Quit being an Independent to become a Democrat.
Quit this run as a Democrat, possibly to run as an Independent.
Quit after only one very non-productive term in the Senate, fear of defeat after sneaking past a runoff during his first and only run for his one and only Senate term.
He got the job, did nothing with it, then walked away as usual.
He didn’t quit during his year fighting in Viet Nam, no complaints there, but you can’t coast for an entire lifetime on only one good year as a young man.
After Viet Nam, he quit everything he tried.
