Donald Trump’s New Hampshire Win Means These Media Members Are Winners & Losers
mediaite.com ^ | February 8

First, here are the biggest "losers."

Nate Silver. Back in November, this liberal media darling and alleged prediction guru told the world that Trump had no real chance at the GOP nomination and that his poll numbers were nothing to be concerned about because they were likely to fade before any votes were cast.

...

Frank Luntz. Luntz unequivocally declared that Trump was dead, gone and finished. Trump's poll numbers only got better from there.

...

Rich Lowry & National Review. Lowry deserves to be singled out for his hilariously inaccurate and inappropriate analysis that Carly Fiorina had surgically removed Trump's testicles after the second debate. Say what you want about him, but it is obvious that Trump's balls are still very much intact.

...

Bill Kristol. Kristol, who has a Dick Morris-like record of bad prognostications, incorrectly predicted that the Republican Party would have a "Fall Fling" with Carly Fiorina

...

Fox News. Like Murphy, it is difficult to call Fox News a "loser" when Trump has made them so much money in increased ratings over the past six months. However, Trump's boycott of the final pre-Iowa debate was a shocking moment for the media entity which thinks its monopoly on conservative TV news gives it supreme power over any conservative.

...

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, & Mark Levin. While each of these talk radio giants is slightly different in how they have handled the Trump Phenomenon, they belong grouped together if only because they have a bit of an alliance. You can argue that they actually belong on the "winners" list because all three have played an instrumental role in Trump's victory (though Levin effectively abandoned Trump for Cruz late in the process and Limbaugh has recently [and correctly] been favoring Rubio).

John needs to add himself to the “Loser” list. He believes Hillary will beat Trump in the general.

I see FoxNews pivoting from it's misleading "fair and balanced" theme to a role of advocacy press. It can make good money there too. Losing credibility among the discerning does not translate into loss of revenue.

Same with the talking heads. I think Levin has permanently damaged his brand. Limbaugh and Hannity, not so much.

Trump won NH because it’s close to New York and some of their values slipped over there..

They, along with the pundits and consultants are worried that the scam has been exposed ..they have been getting paid to lose with loser candidates and losing prognostications...
Jeb’s campaign is a perfect example of this scam ... it’s over after this, and they know it, and they are pissed

Frank Luntz’s wig is as worn out as his act.

The media gives itself too much credit in knowing what WE Think! After many years of listening to what I thought was conservative pundits or talk show people, Low and Behold, I chose out of the mainstream conservative think tank ..and like Trump! Why,because he says what I've been wasting my time yelling or writing to my elected republicans for years.
I've listened and voted every year my adult life for a republican and get more compromise toward this prez than I can stomach. I'm choosing an outsider that says out loud how corrupt our political system is.

Levin lost it all and Rush has been almost as bad (I've listened to him since '89, but did take a time out when he talked about nothing but TOE FUNGUS for almost a month )and neither will come back to where they were. Sean hasn't been as bad as the other two and shouldn't have been on the list.

FNC? they're in REAL trouble too and deserve to be.

Limbaugh and Hannity, not so much.

That's because both refuse to take sides. Hannity especially has been scrupulously fair and really seems to get along with all of the candidates. I've been saying all along he should have been Fox's sole moderator.

If you actually read what Silver wrote, it was not this. He said Trump would not be the nominee, and outlined different events where his candidacy could end, but he never said Trump would definitely fade before the primaries.
