The GOP presidential race is moving to South Carolina, which hosts its primary on Saturday, February 20. A lot can and will change before then, but one thing is clear when looking at polls in the Palmetto State: Donald Trump entered Tuesday as the frontrunner in South Carolina, and heâll remain the frontrunner after his dominant performance in New Hampshire.

Kasich would be a good Riker to Trump’s Picard. He’s done a good job opin Ohio, has a deep resume (public and private), he’s very likeable, and would bring in a big swing state. He’s also kinder and gentler than Trump, and more of the detail-guy whereas Trump is a big-picture guy.

With Kasich, yes, he’d probably lose. Depends on who the VP pick is, though. I think if he picks a strong military officer with some political cred, it could be a winner. Trump on the economy and immigration, the military VP as the foreign policy, military side, VA issues, commitment to Vets...

I told Mr GG2 tonight I would not be surprised if Trump picked Ksick for VP. Ohio is a must win swing state. And Johnny is a good party foot soldier. Trump won’t have to look over his shoulder every day.

Cruz struggling to best the short bus. Not a stellar performance.

Hopefully we'll make this chart even more full of YUGE WINNINGS.

What happened that Kasich came in 2nd in NH? Had he just camped out here and met every last voter personally? I know that is the preferred method in NH.
Ultimately, I think NH will be Kasich’s and IA will be Cruz’s high water mark.

Nope. Trump must think of the future. His VP pick must be loyal.

It would be funny to watch Harry Reid try to operate in the senate with Cruz running things.

Both at 11% now, but 600 votes separate them (in Cruz’s favor).

Better idea than Christie or Huckabee or Kasich.

Carson in cabinet, Palin in cabinet, Cruz in senate then Supreme Court or tee up for after 8 years of Trump & resolution to natural born crap. Huckabee in a position as well.
