Here's a LIVE THREAD for the NH Primary results this evening.
We will know soon enough and we can keep track it right here.
How quick will they call it? I expect between 7:30 and 8 PM the race will be called in NH tonight.
Good sign
LoL @ Kristol.
Well, here’s how I see tonight.
Let’s get the Dems out of the way first.
Bernie Sanders THUMPED Hillary...hard. She has very significant problems when as the woman candidate 18-29 year old women go for Sanders 72% to 27%.
Bernie’s speech makes clear all the more that he is an abject socialist and he will triple down on the social give away programs. That is what he has to draw people in and he is brutally honest about it.
Hillary’s concession speech was nothing of the sort...it was a campaign speech...but, as I say, she is in real trouble despite going into a more friendly part of the country.
Trump won hands down. An impressive victory. His non-politicians, make America great again, art of the deal, strong on immigration speech is precisely why he is where he is...and that’s not changing..
Kasich’s ground game of long standing in NH came through and he did a lot better than I thought he would.
I am glad to see Cruz pulling out the 3rd place. I believe that is a very good showing for him where he had so few evangelicals and had not invested too much time or money...but had a decent organization just the same.
Bush did better than I though he would coming in 4th. But he too has serious problems. No fire in the belly...but this showing did keep him alive to go South.
Biggest loser tonight in terms of expectations and placing was Rubio. His debate performance did matter and it hurt him...and given his speech, it is clear he is finally admitting it.
Christi will get zero delegates and I believe in his speech he telegraphed that he will be getting out.
Fiorina is done and I believe she gets out to.
Ben Carson should get out...but I believe he will go through South Carolina.
Having said all of that the total difference between Cruz, Bush, and Rubio is going to end up being maybe 2,000 votes. That’s all very close.
All of those guys will be in it probably through Super Tuesday.
I believe Cruz has a real opportunity of being number two in SC and doing quite well there. He will continue to add delegates at a decent pace I believe, second only to Trump.
IMHO...by June it may very well be clear that the two of them will have enough delegates to win this thing together and it may o down that way.
Thanks for the update on Christie. Marco will be happy.
remember stay classy and win gracefully
Race tightening for third. CNN: Cruz 11 (24156) Bush 11 (23578)
“Hey I am fed up with it. A man only has so much patience suffering fools. I am done suffering fools.”
I find myself spending less and less time on FR. I’m a Cruz guy, but it is so bad in both directions on most threads. The one thing that is hopeful in these primary results is that the anti-GOPe guys are going strong.
What we need is another Ferguson riot to bring us all back together again!
Don’t know if anyone else noticed - I’m in the 2200’s of this thread and I’m exhausted - suffered through page after page of Sanders speech comments, then Trump finally spoke and there were maybe 4 comments. Nice ones that is - then right back to Cruzers arguing and attacks on him. Trump won tonight, by DOUBLE the closest competitor Maybe he only spoke for 2 minutes as opposed to Sanders’ half hour? I don’t have cable, so don’t know.
I will now never vote for Cruz, either, nor Rubio, the main subjects in FR besides vitriol against Trump. I will follow Trump through his website, Facebook and Youtube. I am SO through in here! Don’t bother telling me you don’t care. I don’t care that you don’t care. Have fun, folks.
First indict Sullivan , then Huma, then Hillary!!
Drop in lovable Joe two weeks before the general.
Scary
Me either. I saw a few stills of her in another site and came up,with the theory. Who knows?
I watched CNN, as I have been since Faux started their crap. When Hillary! and Bernie were on, I muted them. I watched The Donald, then changed the channel when “My father was a mailman” came on.
We are not quite there yet
Race tightening for third. CNN: Cruz 11 (24156) Bush 11 (23578)
It’s been that way all evening. Bush edges up, then Cruz comes out ahead. They must put Bush’s numbers in before Cruz.
he Democrats are a mess.
It is estimated about 1/4 of them voted for Trump.
The others that were dissatisfied with Hillary and Sanders voted for Kasich.
I think you are o to something
Watching Bernie speak solidified my vote for almost any Republican.
Bernie Sanders is the great Uniter....of the Republican Party.
Where’s the “Well...Bye!” gif when you need it??
[We are not quite there yet]
If CRUZ squeaks out 3rd place, I’ll be happy. Almost 70% of the vote is in, but there are some large precincts out there that haven’t been counted. Worrisome.
I have been dating CNN for more than a few weeks now. Thought they had better coverage of the Paris and San Bernardino attacks, cepting the incessant anti-gun campaign. I can't watch AC though, not even 1 minute. I can make it longer with Rachel Maddow, but not even 2 minutes of her. I have done some FoxBiz and haven't been disappointed. Wish that CNN would meet me part way, but probably isn't going to happen.
You have not seen the real Rafael yet. If he loses SC, watch out! Then it will become obvious to everyone why none of his 99 colleagues have endorsed him. Not even Sessions and Lee.
Cruz still up by around 800 votes
Very good summary.
