The victim fought back in an effort to protect himself and his children. At some point during the fight, the suspect went limp, allowing the victim to retreat into his home and call 911.
Alright dad!
He coulda called 1911.....
I love a happy ending. Let’s hope the other perp gets his soon.
Im sorry this man had to get in a life and death struggle in front of his three children in his own home. The turd got what he deserved, I hope the kids are not traumatized.
Dad: Tommy, take out the trash, please.
Kid: I don't wanna.
Dad: Don't mess with me boy.
Kid: Yes sir.

what do you mean “SUSPECTED” burglar
“The case is being investigated as a homicide occurred during the commission of a felony.”
One criminal dead, and the other facing felony murder charges when he’s caught. I approve of that outcome. I’m also impressed with the father, and I wonder where he learned to fight. Is this a wrestler, a Marine, someone trained in martial arts, or just someone naturally tough?
