Trump cancels New Hampshire town hall, blames snow

So much for a new strategy.

Donald Trump dramatically bulked up his campaign schedule in New Hampshire this week as he faced criticism that he doesn't do enough retail politics.

But with a snowstorm barreling down on the state, the Trump campaign canceled a morning town hall in Londonderry -- his only campaign stop in the Granite State scheduled for Friday, just days out from Tuesday's primary contest.

"Big storm in New Hampshire. Moved my event to Monday. Will be there next four days," Trump tweeted.

Considering that Ben Carson lost a campaign staffer last month from bad weather, I think Trump is right on this...

These dopey Cruzers find any means to slander Trump yet make themselves look stupid in the process

I've been here longer than most, and I've never seen anything like it. Epic jackassery. The only thing close were the establishment Bush groupies way back when.

We got wet big snow flake sticky snow in new England today. It’s pretty. All the trees are coated and everything looks magical. In the morning light it will be a sparkling winter Wonderland! Lol

I saw reports that his daughter, Ivanka, is in labor and he was heading to be with her.

There was no stunt... not this time. Flights were canceled all over the state.

Does anyone remember when Trump’s plane had to make an emergency landing a few days ago?

Just maybe they needed to go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure there was no attempt at sabotage - I read that the engines on his pane are the best, with no history of problems, and it is a newer plane than AF1.

It is possible that Trump is being cautious about maintenance, not to mention the weather in New England.

Here’s an idea. Tell liberal states like NH to stfu and hold their primaries in the spring and let some southern states that can pick a conservative take a turn at first choice for president.

I’m thinking he rescheduled and didn’t cancel. Of course, I’m just reading what they’re writing, in spite of the headline.

Trump was home, in NYC; the Bushes stayed in N.H.!

NYC through N.E. got hit by a bad snow storm; the snow is wet, heavy, cement-like. Are you one of the Cruzers who were posting that you hoped that Trump's plane would crash, the other night? Is THAT why you are sad that he didn't fly into N.H. this morning ?

One New Hampshire GOP official, who declined to be named in order to speak freely ahead of the primary race here, suggested that Trump would not have had to cancel his event had he not gone home to New York.

“There are no other campaigns canceling events as far as I know right now. We would expect there to be a blizzard for a campaign to cancel,” the official said. “So maybe the question is: Why did he go back to New York last night?”

If he had gone ahead with the events they would have criticized him for endangering people trying to get to the events, not to mention the police providing security.

Another thread says Trump told a lesbian that he will push the homosexual agenda if he’s elected. Before this I was willing to vote for him if Cruz doesn’t get the nomination, but not after that.

Dr. Carson said on TV today

“The retired neurosurgeon, appearing on “The View” Friday, discussed his concerns about the way Ted Cruz’s campaign passed along CNN’s reporting to organizers that Carson would be leaving the trail to fetch fresh clothes but how it neglected to include a follow-up tweet that Carson was not suspending his campaign. It would have been “very easy” for Cruz’s campaign to reach out to clarify, Carson said. “I just think that anybody who accepts this kind of behavior and doesn’t feel that there’s anything that needs to be done about it has a different standard of ethics than I do.”

Yeah, they make “conservatism” look like a philosphy that requires a modicum of stupidity ( whch it doesn’t ).

Trump ALWAYS goes home, when he can and I don't blame him.

The weather reports were all over the place, last night and only changed long after Trump had already flown home.

This is petty and STUPID beyond belief!

Of course the UNNAMED GOP "official" refused to give his name; he's no doubt for a different candidate.

Also, Trump has a scheduled trip to S.C. today and flying out of N.H., when it was still snowing, would have been STUPID!

I’m surprised at Trump’s rare lack of imagination. Couldn’t he have gotten a Monster limo or something to show up in and lead the news?

Okay...if you say so; however, many of the other Cruz supporters, here, WERE hoping that the Trump; plane had crashed the other night.

Not a single Trump supporter has EVER said/posted anything comparable to that, re Cruz !

People should switch to Cruz big time now to stop the Rubio surge. Is there a Rubio surge? Well, there is on Fox News. Disturbing.

I think The Donald is losing interest. It’s not as easy as some of his other big deals were.

He’s taken a few hits. We cannot count on him.

Come over to the true conservative.
