On Wednesday, Karl Rove, not a Trump fan by any means, explained how the cheating could have cost Donald Trump the election in Iowa.
Wow!
This is a stunning indictment of the Cruz Campaign's cheating scandal.

Who’s Rove? Rover Rove runs round and round, rustily railing for real money.
He couldn’t call Carson. Carson had gone home to wash his clothes.
Damn do you Cruz people get your particular brand of stupid from him, or is it just endemic among yourselves?
Iowa GOP Certified Caucus Results
"Based on caucus results, and only if more than one candidate is placed into nomination at the Republican National Committee's National Convention, Iowa will cast its 30 delegates accordingly:Ted Cruz - 8
Donald Trump - 7
Marco Rubio - 7
Ben Carson - 3
Rand Paul - 1
Jeb Bush - 1
Carly Fiorina - 1
John Kasich - 1
Mike Huckabee - 1
Chris Christie - 0
Rick Santorum - 0
Jim Gilmore - 0"
Trump and Carson both lost votes because of. Rubio also spread the lie during an ongoing caucus process. Trump should screw them both and pick Carson as his running mate. That would be game over in my opinion.
Every RINO and Democrat supports Trump over Cruz because Cruz is the only candidate who is going to bring conservative change to D.C. and dismantle the taxpayer trough they feed off of.
Rove is pushing pure spin and speculation he knows has no basis in fact and is totally unlikely.
26% of Carson voters would've have had to have switched to Cruz for Cruz to lose enough votes without them to come in below Trump. If there were magic words that could steal 26% of a candidate's support away in just a few minutes, then every candidate would be saying them all the time, whether they were true or not.
Cruz won Iowa fair and square. In fact, it's just been reported that in prediction markets, Iowans picked Cruz to win 6 to 1, while people out of Iowa were predicting Trump. They knew what was happening on the ground leading up to Cruz' victory.
Government subsidies and crony capitalism are REAL issues. You have to be willing to stick up for that principle even when it’s politically risky and Cruz proved he can do that. That’s how we know he’ll stick to his promises on Iran and all other issues. His ethanol play proves Cruz is a man we can trust to govern by principle, not polls.
@VictorB123 Jake Tapper confirms that Carson's own staffer spilled the info to CNN that CNN reported. Carson needs a talk with his staffer— Joe the Dissident (@joethepatriotic) February 3, 2016
I expect he will learn from that in terms of the first two, and rebound in Iowa.
If a text went out to “all” Cruz precinct reps but didn’t go out to the Cruz rep in my precinct, or to several other Cruz precinct reps I know, then the statement that a text was sent to all precinct reps is false.
What’s anecdotal is that Carson supporters changed their votes. Not one has come forward.
Well, I guess the staffer answered honestly when asked what Carson's plans were. Never thinking the info would be used in a dishonest way to harm Carson.
I’m not a Karl Rove fan but he is right about this one. This was just plain mean & spiteful to do to Dr. Carson. Carson has not done anything to deserve this treatment! And because of it, Carson took 4th place. Damage has been done. You can’t fix it.
A person’s true character always comes out under stressful situations. I believe we just witnessed Ted Cruz’s true character.
The other day, I was beaten-up by the Cruzers because one asked why Cruz was last on my list of GOP candidates. After I honestly told them because he was not likable and I don’t trust him, they unleashed their wrath. This is your guy folks, own it!!!
It s let you and him
fight.
I guess they had to put Karl Rove on TV to offer his theory since they were having trouble finding anyone who actually switched their vote from Carson to Cruz because they’d heard the false rumor.
Even you on the stupid pipe? Since you believe so fervently in prediction markets as to what is "happening on the ground", Cruz is going to get his Canuck kicked to the curb in New Hampshire:
PredictWise:
Donald Trump 68%
Marco Rubio 19%
Ted Cruz 7%
John Kasich 4%
PredictIt:
Donald Trump 69
Marco Rubio 26
Ted Cruz 7
John Kasich 3
lol...you never know.
“Karl Rove”?
There are better ways to persuade a FR audience. Just saying.
Actually, check out Free Republic threads from about 2000-2006 and see what Freepers felt about Karl Rove.
This isn’t to say he hasn’t fallen into disfavor, but I believe FR is the source of “Rove you glorious bastard”.
He was idolized here for years.
So was George W. Bush. We could go down the list. I could find a whole series of Huckabee, Santorum, Gingrich, and even Romney supporters that would boggle your mind today. Don’t marry The Lady Politics. You’ll be divorced over infidelity within a few years.
No, it paraphrased it. And others followed.
Rove adds in the math hypothesis. It’s all speculation and a moot point now but I believe Carson would have gained a larger percentage of the vote, possible beating Rubio.
Almost universally, the GOPe is saying "We want Rubio but we would rather lose with Trump than win with Cruz".
Can you imagine the ramifications of an ethical Department of Justice? There would be scorched earth.
