Donald Trump just accused Ted Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucuses over the Cruz campaign's admission that it helped spread a rumor that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!

Update 2. Oh boy:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified. 9:28 AM - 3 Feb 2016

This is quickly becoming a classical case study of political self destruction.

I would agree with that except Trump has zero political knowledge and experience. He thought being an economic whiz kid and a bully with a big mouth was all that was necessary to succeed in politics.
He’s found out otherwise.

Hi Laz,
Please go to link and read what I wrote earlier this morning.
Gee, thanks for listening and taking the time to reply to the reply you’re supposedly not listening to d:oP
The same people that having the vapors over this are probably the same who thought it was no big deal what Cruz did to Carson in IA. Just a little nudge to continue that Cruz is nasty meme.
“unwittingly revealing himself by these tweets”
Lol. You know that they are written by his intern, right?
When he demonstrates he can play well with others we can even perhaps give him a tactical conventional missile but not if he is near a drone.
I like Carson, but Carson had no chance anyway.
Oh....I see. Interesting. So Cruz felt that just because Carson had no chance, why not be a cheat and screw him. Ok......interesting how the World has changed. As far as Rubio, he will be asked as well. I want Cruz and Rubio out of the race due to cheating. You do know that when you cheat in school or on the job, you are fired. I think both Cruz and Rubio should be suspended by the RNC.
Bull!
Iowa Rep Steve King has copped to this, and was a completely understandable reaction to the news Carson was headed home, not to New Hampshire. I heard it on CNN first, based on a CNN reporter’s tweet apparently, which in turn was made to mean more than intended.
Cruz is right; it would be completely normal to pass the news on to your peeps in the field. I refuse to believe Cruz knowlingly distorted this for political advantage. Fire away anti-Cruzers....
And it likely made zero difference in the vote totals. Geraghty at NR reports Carson poll numbers the last 2 months averaged 7.7 %. He received 9.3%.
Yes, Donald your whining is becoming too much.
The Donald really wrote, “Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified.”?
That’s CRAZY!
Trump has lost his mind. And I’m sure the Trumpbots are going to revel in his madness. Like giddy little schoolboys.
The source was CNN.
I have enjoyed how Trump has energized the campaign and how he makes bold statements and has emboldened others to do the same. He singlehandedly made illegal immigration an important issue (as it should be). I can still see myself voting for him. But he reminds me a bit too much of the owner of the company where I work. Like Trump, he is a wealthy narcissist, and he has been known to make knee-jerk decisions that have harmed the company. Most of these decisions have been based on blows to his ego, and he reacts as if he is royalty and that he is not required to jump through hoops like the rest of us. I am starting to see this personality flaw in Trump.
There's a lot I like about Trump, but that still small voice inside me keeps saying "danger, danger".
What an idiot.
This is actually smart politics by Trump. We will be moving down South in a few weeks and Carson is still pretty popular in the polls there. Cruz’s antics against Carson will not be received well and many will not be happy with what is perceived as “cheating”. Trump eliminates threats one by one. I think he has ascertained that Rubio can be dealt with later on down the road but Cruz needs to be taken care of now. I don’t necessarily agree, but Trump is the billionaire, not me. Cruz is continuing to harp on the NY Values comment, and I think that burns Trump more than anything else. The easy deflection to this now, and I hope Trump uses it is to brand Rubio and Cruz as having “D.C. Values”. It ties a bunch of things into one neat little package and reinforces what people hate most, Washington politicians.
He needs to move on at this late point.
But no one running for office should ever complain about dirty tricks like when voting machine defaulted to Obama regardless of your vote or how Philly and Cleveland got over 100% votes for Obama. /s Right!
Someone needs to look into those coin tosses!
Why aren’t you feigning outrage at the other candidates whose camps did same thing?
