Rep. Steve King is taking heat for what he posted on Twitter during the caucuses Monday night about Ben Carson.
King, the Cruz campaigns national co-chair, retweeted CNNs Chris Moody about Carsonâs break from the campaign trail before New Hampshireâs primary.
Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope, King tweeted. In another tweet, the congressman said Carsonâs next steps were equivalent of suspending.
This was the tweet Steve King saw [from CNN Twitter] and was repeating it.

News report that started it all: Not Cruz’s fault.
Somebody shared it out on facebook, I couldn’t find it on youtube.

Cruz all ready apologied to Carson for the error. This is a dead horse issue
“High-Jinks” occur with every campaign - which admittedly doesn’t excuse or make it right. That said, however, most often it turns out to be a mistake for the offended party to make too much of it, as it makes them appear as some sort of cry baby.
On Laura Ingraham this am, he said he did it because he thought the Carson caucusers deserved to know. His motives were altruistic, dontchaknow.
This fiasco stinks to high heaven.
King should retire.
Sooner than later.
What were the words Mike Huckabee used ? I am suspending my Campaign
Not that I am going to Florida to get some clothes after he raised more money than anybody last quarter
Then we have the issue with the illegal mailer
[[Cruz all ready apologied to Carson for the error. This is a dead horse issue]]
Not for trumpies and the GOP-e and Fox news it isn’t over yet- they will likely harp on this till November- They still bring up the lie that Cruz was for amnesty
“This fiasco stinks to high heaven.”
CNN Set up. They were trolling for a Republican and Cruz’s team took the bait.
Totally the fault of the Cruz campaign. Nowhere in that video does anyone say Carson was dropping out of the race. It is beyond irresponsible for another campaign to make such an assumption and then send that false information out to their precinct leaders to be used to try and sway votes.
“15 minutes BEFORE caucus doors opened, CNN was dropping hints that Carson might be dropping out and was not going to NH or SC.”
Regardless even though I don’t think it was his fault he apologized for it today.

Slime defended by weasel answers.
Agree.
And I don’t respect defending or excusing this behavior.
“Carson said Tuesday he accepted the apology, but questioned whether there was a deeper “cultural issue” with Cruz’s campaign.”
Fake fake fake.
It does not matter, Saint Ted can do no wrong. Nothing to see here, now move along to what Trump said in 1987. That relevant.
