AMES, Iowa - Rep. Steve King , an Iowa Republican and Ted Cruz supporter, says Donald Trump bought his endorsements. Trump recently received high profile endorsements from Maricopa County Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and Liberty University president Jerry Falwell, Jr.
King reiterated his statement about the endorsements to the Daily Caller on Saturday during a Cruz rally at the Gateway Hotel and stressed that he "knows things."
"He has, from a regular person's perspective, unlimited resources and he's willing to use whatever access he has in order to get the endorsements that he wants," King explained.
"Among those are the assets that we would naturally think of, including the attraction that might be for, oh who knows, a reality TV show, a job in the Trump machine," he said.
King added: "There's fame and fortune, and there's also the fear factor of retribution, which Donald Trump has not been shy about delivering against people. So all of that affects a person's judgment under those circumstances."
The conservative Iowa congressman would not get specific, but would only say, "I know things, but I'm saying what is appropriate, so that people will know enough, and I'm wanting to keep this on as high a plane as I can, but I don't think my conscience can allow me from not saying anything."
I do not care what the business law is, it was acknowledged on this site that donnie was able to include millions of his personal debt into the so called corp. bankruptcies. He gets it both ways, us little people do not.
“LIKE”
You mean like this one? It has sex and harassment.
It's impossible to avoid tripping over scandalous information about Trump.
Having Trump as the Republican nominee would be a nightmare of campaign ads that would make Hillary look saintly and honest.
LOL
You mean you know what Rep. King knows and isn't willing to say? Really?
Trump supporters really don’t know who they are supporting.
Mr. Trump claims to be strong on illegal immigration, but here’s the REAL DONALD TRUMP:
“We are not talking about positions he has taken years ago before he became a Republican. In 2013, conservatives were fighting for dear life to oppose open borders, while Trump was not only supporting the Dream Act, but echoing the liberal politically correct talking points behind it. In August of 2013, he reportedly told a group of illegal aliens, âYou have convinced meâ of the need to pass the Dream Act.”

Somebody send this to Sarah Palin.
I never said that. Kindly make sense next time you post.
BACKSTORY Cruz/s Senate election fairy tale has become legendary......portraying himself as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.
He was whining in the media, telling trusting Texans that he, and his faithful little wife (a $700,000 globalist lawyer employed by G/S), were forced to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.
NOW TRUSTING TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin accounts at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).
Cruz did not disclose loans on FEC reports (required by law) b/c Texans would have discovered he was not the aw-shucks rube he pretended to be. He continued the rube act in order to milk votes from trusting Texans.
At the same time, he also did not disclose he was a dual Canadian citizen......the Harvard-educated lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees said he didn't know.
====================================================
NOTE Mrs Cruz is on hiatus from G/S.....is she getting paid by the Cruz campaign?
===============================================
UT, OH Cruz told Levin he used the Wall Street loans for the campaign/s TV ads......but these loans have never been reported as campaign related. Cruz does not need the FEC/s permission to fully disclose the info. What is he hiding?
EXHIBIT ONE <><> In January 2016, the New York Times reported that Cruz and his wife had taken out low-interest loans from Goldman Sachs (her employer) and Citibank, and failed to report the nearly $1 million in loans on Federal Election Commission disclosure statements as required by law.[97] Cruz disclosed the loans on his Senate financial disclosure forms in July 2012, but not on the Federal Election Commission form.[98] The loans were largely repaid by later campaign fundraising.....even though Cruz/s spox recently said no donor paid off the loans. A spokesperson for Cruz said his failure to report the loans to the FEC was "inadvertent" and said he would be filing supplementary paperwork.[97] (hat tip WIKI)
EXHIBIT TWO <><> During his 2012 Senate campaign, Time magazine reported on a potential violation of ethics rules; Senate candidate Cruz failed to publicly disclose his financial relationship with Caribbean Equity Partners Investment Holdings. Typically, Cruz called his failure to disclose these connections an "inadvertent" omission.[96] (hat tip WIKI)
Sun, this is the Freeper you are allying yourself with? OK.
You sure got that one down pat, Liz. Let me know when you’re tired of shooting fish in a barrel.
Please remember — these are our FRiends. They are hurting. Even if they win Iowa, they are supporting one excellent conservative underdog who will march barefoot from state to state on political broken glass. If Cruz wins at this point — more power to him!
Trump and Cruz are big boys. Unless a new shocker comes up our current research and debates fade in importance each day here-on-out. They are in the driver seat now.
You’re wrong about this.
Read this and weep.
I promised to focus less on the primary.
But King — what a smear!
And the timing?
Suspicious.
Why did King wait so long to ‘come out’ and villify Jerry Falwell Jr?
No weepy ‘cause you’re wrong.
Here are the facts:
Canada claimed him but Ted Cruz was an American citizen at birth.
Just because Ted Cruz politely (and officially) said, “no thanks” to Canada’s law, it in no way changes Cruz’s legal status and eligibility to run for President of the United States.
Show me a Canadian passport that Cruz was using to travel overseas?
"so long" - what has it been 3 days?
The better question to raise, is:
Why did Falwell Jr. wait a week between his "Trump is like MLK, Jesus and my dad" rally and his endorsement of Trump?
: )
Sorry to confuse you with legal points.
And that explains why Trump is doing so well. The scum in DC are all behind ole barry and his 2 terms.
