Cruz says he won't apologize to anyone for the mailers -- suggesting he's "encouraging" people to turn out to caucus.

At least none of the other voters were named "Ima Hogg"...
(...just *kidding* / making the rubble bounce)
“Binders full of voters.”
Trump knows, “pick on somebody your own size”, Cruz does not.
OK. I’m all for deporting illegals. And many have done worse even than what you describe. Many have commited multiple murders and yes, rapes.
I’m not sure how that relates to saying about Mexicans: “They’re rapists.”

Here you see the difference between Trump and Cruz. Trump would have publicly fired those responsible and sent free Starbucks cards to those offended (Come on now you know its true). Cruz just double downs. One a leader, one a politician. Eases my mind, on my choice.
Alas, conservatism hasn't been immune to the injection of statist dogma masquerading as "fairness." And the concomitant dumbing down of the education system and economic literacy in general has lead to some...shall we say confused "conservatives."
That's ok. I don't blame you.
Society's to blame.
Hank
Your lying hyperbole will get you nowhere here, my FRiend.
A mistake is still a mistake, no matter how many make it. I’ve worked in and managed campaigns for years, and I can say with confidence that this sort of thing is often a campaign killer. It should NEVER be done in a campaign appealing to people who look for honesty as a priority in a candidate; as Evangelicals do. Even when tried by those with fewer scruples who are losing and desperate, it very rarely works.
Ted Cruz should not have been desperate. Nobody “wins” Iowa. Delegates are chose proportionately and both Trump and Cruz would have wound up close to a tie. All the Primaries are proportionate until March.
Most important, by taking ownership of this mailer, his greatest asset has been compromised; his character.
His organization is coming across as a sleazy sales boiler room operation. No class. I think you know of what I speak.
I’m sure he’ll complain that he’s tired of winning so much!
Same here. I can’t help being disappointed right now.
Big deal! Are we a nation of pansies?
I can’t believe it either... bet he loses points on this move...
Meanwhile...
"If I told the real stories of my experiences with women, often seemingly very happily married and important women, this book would be a guaranteed best-seller..."Yay Trump!"Beautiful, famous, successful, married; I've had them all, secretly, the world's biggest names."
-- Donald "The Bimbo" Trump
This is just wrong.... I am very surprised and disappointed
in Ted.
Cruz isn’t a saint. He’s a conservative. Not perfect. I’m the only one who would be the perfect conservative as far as I’m concerned.
But he never advocated single-payer healthcare.
He never contributed money to Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer or Rahm Emanuel.
He never tried to throw an old lady out of her house so he could build a casino parking lot.
He never advocated an “assault weapons” ban.
He’s never gone bankrupt - much less go bankrupt 4 times.
He’s never described himself as “very pro-choice.”
He doesn’t go around calling people names because they don’t support him or say things he doesn’t like.
And he has a clue about basic stuff like “nuclear triad.”
He’s smart. He’s conservative. And he’s informed.
Not a saint. Just a conservative.
Hank
Maybe he doesn’t want to win. Because that was a stupid move that guarantees he will not win fans in Iowa.
Cruz comes across as heavy handed ... I don’t think it’ll help him but it might get more people to vote for Trump.
Never apologize. Never explain.
Hank
