Cruz says he won't apologize to anyone for the mailers -- suggesting he's "encouraging" people to turn out to caucus.

Monday night will be all telling.
Has any candidate done this in the past?
Yeah, Obama.
Many in different races.
His was “black churches are burning.”
Time to ban myself.
That's not good; does Cruz not realize that both the Iowa and national media are going to tear him to pieces over this?
When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging!
Alrighty then.
Sorry Ted. The big brother condescension in your mailer is now something you own.
And for anyone to say “other campaigns have done it” is quite similar to Nuremburg when guards routinely said “I was just following orders”.
Voters know if something feels horribly wrong, and that mailer was the final straw.
The fact that Cruz is responding to it is not a good sign for Cruz.
On facebook there is a flier that was sent out by the Iowa GOP for 2014 similar to this. But instead it showed a google air-photo with checkmarks on you and your neighbor’s homes on who had voted or not.
It said Alaska and other states have done this too. Not excusing it - but it has been done and I imagine has been shown to work.
Yeah, scaring elderly people they have committed a ‘Violation’ is helping people. Creepy a la king
Up yours Ted. Take your threats and shove ‘em.
Obama For America, which, in addition to being successful against Romney in 2012, utilized a lot of Google analytics personnel (either as direct employees or on loan.) They had a distinct edge in micro targeting, which Romney’s campaign did not match.
Cruz is using the same methods, and perhaps some people are unfamiliar with them, and may not like them. That is your privilege. But it is not a privilege of any Republican campaign to be doing battle with pre-modern information technology and methods.
Move on dot org values at work.
It would be out of character for the purest conservative of them all to apologize even if it was just to say he was sorry that some people found it offensive that he sent their voting record with a grade F to their neighbors. Why should anyone be upset about that. He was doing it for their own good... just like Obamacare was for our own good. I have been saying for weeks that I would be happy if Cruz were the nominee... but after the last couple of weeks... not so much.
