ALL THREE TOWNS TODAY ARE ON THE MISSISSIPPI!!!!!
1. DUBUQUE
Named after its first white settler, Julien Dubuque.
Population is 58,253, making it the tenth-largest city in the state.
Dubuque was for many years a milling town for forestry companies. Later, Dubuque's economy was centered on manufacturing companies such as Deere and Company and Flexsteel Industries. These industries brought in many German and Irish workers.
While industry still plays a major role in the city, the economy has diversified a great deal in the last decade. Today, health care, education, tourism, publishing, and financial services are all important sectors of the city's expanding business climate.
2. CLINTON
The population is 26,885. Like Dubuque was also noted in the early days for forestry products and milling.
3. DAVENPORT
Population of 474,226 Antoine LeClaire was the primary founder of Davenport. John Deere employs over 7,000 people here.

Q:Who is the most famous person from Iowa, I believe Cedar Rapids, that hasn’t been born yet?
A:Captain James Tiberius Kirk
I just noticed something odd. How come I rarely ever see any cruz, rubio, carson rally speech videos posted on here or any other conservative sites. Out of curiosity I wanted to know what other candidates are saying as well, but they’re so hard to find. I know theres lots of cruz supporters on here, yet they not spreading his rally videos for him
Hahahahaha good one...worth 100 bonus points. I think we’ll save it for Monday, shall we?
What did you score on today’s?
In before the ZOT!
I scored 100% because as I was thinking about the questions I was scrolling down and saw your first post. At least in magazines the print the answers upside down in tiny font. ;)
We’ve ALL talked about this weeks ago. Because there aren’t none. Only Trump has his live. Why?
Because the media outlets want to catch him saying something silly, or outlandish, or tape the protestors. The camera is always fixed on him.
They never pan the crowd, because to do so, would in essence be a campaign streaming and might require them to do the same for the other candidates.
It’s very funny, as they will ONLY pan the crowd if there is a protestor thrown out.
The first event in Dubuque is at the airport. Will be difficult to keep his plane and crowd out of the picture.
Davenport is one of the Quad Cities. Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island, Moline and East Moline (I know, that makes five) in Illinois.
The jazz musician question may have more than one answer! Of course, the photo narrows it down.
I just learned how to post photos...and I’m not that good at it, and you want me to change the fonts...and post them upside down...? lol
I could use some help on this.
Here are the upcoming events for tomorrow and Monday. If anyone has some good accurate trivia, send it to my mail and we’ll have the last great Trivia Challenge Monday...

From the B.C. Anteater...? Makes the “zot” sound when he snaps an ant. “zot!”
We had some weird dudes on this forum back then...
This is actually kinda funny. Searching for Trolls and then zotting them.
I noticed the guy went to the trouble to post this on a Friday night.
