Donald Trump again claimed that Sen. Ted Cruz may not be a U.S. citizen, The Guardian reports.
Said Trump: âHeâs an anchor baby. Ted Cruz is an anchor baby in Canada, but Canada doesnât accept anchor babies, they just waited a long time.â
He added: âI think thatâs one of the reasons heâs a nervous wreck. Now theyâre saying, I think, his career is over, right? How about this, heâs a citizen of Canada and heâs a senator from Texas?â

Cruz has been challenged at least four times this cycle (FL, IL, TX and VT). The Donald could challenge Cruz if he choose. But, listen carefully to him. He never actually says he think Cruz isn’t a natural born citizen. But, he thinks his followers will fall for anything he seems to be saying. His opinion of the Republican Party isn’t very high.

Unless congress decided to, but they won't do anything to help Cruz.
If he asked Congress I think they would comply. McCain was asked about this and he said he thought they could get it done quickly and easily.

As someone who was thoroughly enjoying the sheer discombobulation of the media and the establishment in this primary season, I’m finding my interest in the actual election is continuing to wane. Maybe it’s due to things like this, maybe not. I don’t know.

If Cruz is the nominee the Democrats are gonna pound him nonstop on his NBC status. That’s going to be their gameplan. If we’re getting all hot under the collar about Trump using this issue you ain’t seen nothing until the left goes full tilt on it.

Truth be told, my biggest problem with Trump is his behaving like a buffoon. I wasn't drawn to him for his TV persona, but he is turning me off to him the more he plays it up.

Hopefully you'll be catching a second wind come Monday. For better or worse, this cycle is certainly one for the ages. And we're alive as it happens. Amazing times we live in.

Ooh...ooh...ooh...just imagine a president Trump; he will tweet every 666 milliseconds whom we MUST adore and whom we must HATE at that point in time.

Trump was not an anchor baby, because both parents were American citizens when he was born, regardless of where they were born. His children are not anchor babies because he is a citizen.

“We do not need to get into the nonsense of having a foreign born President.”
Yes sir. A quick review of the last seven years confirms that concern.
The whole point seven years ago was our contention here on Free Repbulic that Obama was not born in Hawaii just after it was made a state. The contention here was that he was not eligible because he was not a natural born citizen because he wasn’t born in the USA.
So after considerable delay he produced a bogus birth certificate. His place of birth—one more time—was the point.
Cruz admits he’s not a NBC, having been born in the Great White North, and today we’ve got not only special pleading FRiends but FRiends also shamelessly begging the question saying that his birth as a Canadian is a “moot point”.
Yeah, nothing to see here. Let’s all just move along. All of this `nit-picking’ over Article 2, Section 2, clause 5 is only a concern ... if you have an ounce of integrity and self-respect.
[And isn’t anyone concerned that Canadians are ... hatched from eggs in incubators? Do we really want a president hatched from an egg?]
Series, this point really will be—clearing throat—moot before too long, but here of all places we should know better.
OK. I really stepped in it now, huh napsie? Eh?

The dump's ad hominem attacks get more stupid every day. I was attracted and seriously considered voting for him.
As it is, I need to go to the restroom and take a Trump.

The term "anchor" could be generally used to define non-citizen parents legally in a county *temporarily* (as in tourist or student visas) who use the birth of a child to alter their status to something more permanent, or to enable extended family to emigrate who might not otherwise be able.
Hypothetically, would it not have been possible for the elder Cruz to use the baby Cruz to justify siblings to come to Canada from Cuba to help raise Canada's newest citizen?

And Cruz is not an anchor baby of Canada. The whole thing is a joke from the start. Don’t you have a sense of humor?
To: Redmen4ever
Was that humor?
