DES MOINES - Donald J. Trump may have some company from other candidates at his counterprogramming event here on Thursday night during the Fox News-hosted Republican presidential campaign debate. In an interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday morning, Mr. Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said that he had heard from other candidates “proactively” about attending the event that Mr. Trump will hold at Drake University at the same time as the debate.
Mr. Trump announced on Tuesday afternoon that he would skip the final debate before the Iowa caucuses, after Fox News officials issued a mocking statement about him following a day of escalating attacks. Mr. Trump had earlier said he would participate only if the moderator Megyn Kelly, with whom he clashed at the first G.O.P. debate last August, was removed.

Interesting.
Not sure how much to read into this, but it is interesting.
Fox has repositioned itself (way) to the left of where it used to be.
Big time.

Now that the Ambush Cat is out of the bag re the 3 Liberal activists on the panel......why would any of the candidates want to appear on the stage?
There must be a mole somewhere inside the Fox building
Hmmmmmm......the Fox really is in the Henhouse

There’s more to Trump’s exit than little old Meg.

There's more to Trump's exit than little old Meg. Exactly. With these new revelations about the Muslim and the Latina "guest" plants asking the candidates questions, this whole fiasco is going to blow up in Ailes' face.
I hope tonight's advertisers didn't pay up front.

I can see Trump, Huckabee and Carson at a rally for vets, and the others debating policy on FoxNews.
We'll know, 24 hours from now, how it all played out.

I doubt any of the other candidates have the balls to walk away from this, but what has been exposed about Fox's machinations ought to piss off everyone; this kind of manipulation by Murdoch & Co* really is (to use Joe Biden's oh-so-statesmanlike expression) "a big f-ing deal."

Nice catch. Santorum is another possibility. Trump won’t divulge, I’m sure, leaving it up to each candidate to make their own way.
