DOG DECONTAMINATION

Cirque, a service dog for the Ohio Task Force 1, goes through a decontamination procedure at the hands of his handler, Craig Veldheer, after searching for survivors in radioactive rubble during Vibrant Response at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex, IN, Aug. 4, 2014. WET WORK

Marines execute the endurance course on Camp Lejeune, NC, July 30, 2014. The endurance course is a 3.4-mile path through the woods that winds through swamps, creeks and obstacles to test endurance and ability to work as a team. The Marines are assigned to Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment.

CARGO CREW

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Bradley Nulf secures cargo for an airdrop on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Aug. 1, 2014. Nulf is an evaluator loadmaster assigned to the 774th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, which is using a new wireless gate release system for airdrops. The system saves material, fuel costs and man hours for the Air Force.

Well, I ended up painting at my sister’s house till seven, was treated to a nice steak dinner (Lynn-Dah got some) and then drove home to pass out for nearly 10 hours.

I won’t be singing tonight, as only squeaks come out.
