The Republican National Committee (RNC) has formally split with NBC for its debate next month in Houston, announcing Monday that it will partner with CNN to broadcast the event.
The debate was originally slated to take place Feb. 26 at the University of Houston. Now it will take place a day earlier, Feb. 25, in Houston at a location that has yet to be announced.
Spanish-language media company Telemundo will continue to co-host the event, along with conservative magazine National Review and radio network Salem Communications, RNC chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.
The RNC had announced in late October that it would pull out of the NBC debate over the conduct of CNBC moderators during the third GOP debate in Colorado.
NBC at the time called the RNC's decision "disappointing" and said it would "work in good faith to resolve this matter with the Republican Party."
Republicans held their sixth debate, hosted by Fox Business Network, last week in South Carolina. The next, hosted by Fox News in Iowa, is scheduled for Jan. 28, days before the Iowa caucuses.
The Republican Party has scheduled three more debates in February, including the one in Houston, along with two more in March hosted by major networks including Fox and CNN.

WTH!?!?!
i thought this dam thing started next week??
what the @#$@#$ would we need a 13th debate for?
“NBC at the time called the RNC’s decision “disappointing” and said it would “work in good faith to resolve this matter with the Republican Party.”
I guess Rancid Prius finally understands what “good faith” means at NBC.
This article is a week old. Since then, I believe National Review has also been dropped due to its anti-Trump issue.
NBC...CNNN...ABC...CBS....what’s the diff?
None are needed.
[NBC...CNNN...ABC...CBS....whatâs the diff?]
You forgot to add FNC.
That is (exactly) what I was going to say.
What the heck is the difference anymore?
However, at the very same time they are bailing out of a debate.
“NBC...CNNN...ABC...CBS....whatâs the diff?”
There is none. Good point. Because, the MSM does not give a damn about the Republican Party, any candidate, or policy. What they care about is their own “news” organization and ratings. This is why they are useless. The news is about THEM...not the candidates or their proposed agendas.
God, just look at the whining and crying by FOX since Trump told them where to go. Perfect example.

Who has that picture of the little girl crying; “Leave Fox Alone”!..

There is a reason they didn’t drop Fox? What is it?
What a bunch of phoneys at FOX. They have blown their foot clean off.
Salem Communications = This Anti-Trump Media Group owns Michael Medved, Red State, Hot Air, Hugh Hewitt and more.
They have too many debates. What is the point of so many?
Debates have turned into the punch line of late night comics. They really suck. Wouldn't waste my time with them. GO TRUMP GO.
WHAT MORE can we possibly learn about them? their eating habits? their favorite color?
someone’s getting rich off of them.
those at 4 percent are hoping for a miracle.
and the press gets to destroy them a little more.
