Donald Trump's campaign manager gave no ground on Wednesday morning after a Fox News statement singled him out, suggesting that he threatened the network with "terrorizations" of debate co-moderator Megyn Kelly.
-snip-
Asked about Ted Cruz's call for a one-on-one debate before Monday's caucuses in Iowa, Lewandowski said the Texas senator's campaign was not the only one to reach out asking if they could participate in the Trump campaign's event for wounded warriors and veterans on Thursday night in Des Moines.
"Well, look, he's not the only one. We've had calls from many debates, from many of the candidates now, to say look, why would we participate in the Fox debate as well? I think what you're finding out, once again, you have the candidates reacting to the only true leader in this race, which is Donald Trump," Lewandowski claimed. "He leads, and all of a sudden everyone realizes that, hey, maybe it's not the best idea to be involved in these debates, maybe we should leave as well. So I had a number of calls yesterday with some of the other campaigns who said hey, can we come and join you in raising money for the Wounded Warriors and the veterans, because, you know, Fox isn't going to be fair to you, what makes them think they're going to be fair to us?"
As for whether more could bolt the Thursday night debate, Lewandowski demurred.
"Well, it's very possible," he said. "Obviously, they have to do what they think is best for their campaign, but they reached out to us proactively so they could be part of our debate, our event, which we're going to do on Thursday night in Des Moines, and so we'll see what happens."

I think FAUX News really stepped on themselves with this one.
They need Trump more than Trump needs them.

Google and Fox TV Invite Anti-Trump Muslim Advocate to Join Next GOP TV-Debate

Fox News and Google have invited three YouTube personalities to ask questions at the Jan. 28 GOP debate - including a Muslim advocate who describes Donald Trump as a bigot and who visually portrayed him as being in agreement with national socialist Adolf Hitler.
“We have a presidential candidate whose loudest message reeks of hatred and Islamophobia... turning on the news now is scary, and oftentimes, humiliating,” the Muslim woman, Nabela Noor, says in a December YouTube video.
I just hope Trump finds a good safe zone, like the young liberal college kids seek, to hide in.
Other than Cruz, have other candidates commented in public about this?
This will be a day that I won’t be able to leave FR and the internet!
Thursday night’s debate is set up as a Trump ambush. It’s a “get Trump” event, complete with a rabid feminist, as well as a militant Muslim on the panel.
Lol.. maybe trump should put on some depends and go anyway.. just in case a girl asks unfair questions that scare the piss out of him.
I would never vote for a leader who is.. scared of a girl.. and scared of unfair questions. What a crybaby.
She felt she MUST make a voice against criticism of Islam, but very highly never ONCE spoke out about the rabid, subhuman monster Jihadists she prays with.
Debates have run their course, it’s time to end all of them, forever. Once upon a time, the debates served to introduce the candidates and their policies to the voters, but they are now just a theater of absurdity led by media agendas.
Keeping in-mind Fox News Channel is run by Roger Ailes, former National Republican Chairman and we are four days before they vote in Iowa.
There is no candidate, absolutely no one in this presidential race who has the gravitas to simply walk away from a live debate stage on Fox News Channel four days before they vote in Iowa.
Say what you want about Donald Trump -some of you love him; some of you loathe him. But Trump’s confidence is why so many support him. I think he has made it perfectly clear, no one will push him around.

That is a lie. Cruz is going to the debate.
Why do yo believe anything that man says and discount anything else.
Lie Lie whine whine trash trash... DT’s formula.
I don’t know how this day could possibly get better.
I await Cruz's response. Does not pass the smell test. Cruz is going to the Fox debate, keeping his word.
Trump has reneged on a deal he made.
and you believe that nonsense?
Are you going to use your voice to criticize the actions of the people of your "faith?"
If not, then go away.
I can envision a Trump presidency where he bans reporters who said something he didn’t like from his press conferences. Steve Spurrier, the arrogant self absorbed ole ball coach (former) of the SC Gamecocks did the same thing. All it does is show a sort of petty small mindedness. Not good.
