Trump just announced he is not doing the debate this week. Seems that along with not liking Megyn Kelly, Fox just issued some email that insulted him. Some message about Putin and him.
He said he will likely not change his mind.

True...I don’t remember people being mad at Romney because Candace Crowly ACTIVELY sabotaged his election chances...but they are now mad at Trump because he WILL NOT permit that to happen this time.
Go figure.
I probably wouldn’t have watched anyway.
Too many people on stage. I already have made my mind up for Trump. The debate doesn’t offer me anything but a chance to get angry at the questions. Who needs that.
Not sure at all how that would effect contractual relations that may exist that might exist among them. Perhaps they could. I really don't know.
We just watched him say it in his press conference live. It had a little to do with Meg, but they took it nuclear with their snarky release. He just said he doesn’t want to play childish games with Fox.
He does not need Fox, they need him.
I hope the Trump team is out getting a huge venue real quick! And a donation line set up with the total collected the whole time running across the bottom. Make it a huge hit with lots of money for the vets!
The media has always been part of the problem and we all know that. We also know the debates in past primaries and the general elections have been set up to the disadvantage of the Republicans. Regardless of who you support, if we do not put the media in its place, we will never win the battle to restore America to its glory.
I fully support Trump not attending the debate.
Trump should get Fox to negotiate a deal. Have Megyn wear one of Hillary’s pantsuits & dark sunglasses and a promise not to make the debate all about her. Have her blend in and not try to appear as a hooker. And for once ask intelligent questions and not be biased singling out Trump for nastiness.
Sara Murray,the new woman at CNN following Trumps’ campaign, just confirmed that Trump will back out of debt and do a competing rally or townhall instead. The campaign manager confirmed to CNN adding it will be during the debate.
Who cares if 1-2 million watch the kiddie debate which is what it will be if Trump walks. 9 million will watch his townhall which I practically guarantee CNN will carry live just to eff Ailes up and get a ratings boost. :-)

I can totally see people being PO’d that Trump wasn’t at this one.....yeah.
Trump has a (huge) budget, which he hasn’t even tapped into yet.

This is a battle tactic. Risky to be sure, but he’s taken risks, calculated risks, before.
The man knows how to fight, and fight hard. NYC is not an easy town, especially for the faint of heart. And the business of Manhattan Real Estate, it’s a rough and tumble, vicious and political minefield.
Fear is not part of this equation.
