Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr., the son of the late televangelist, endorsed Donald Trump on Tuesday, giving Republican front-runner the blessing of one of the evangelical communityâs biggest names just days before the Iowa caucuses.

By the way, the same exact argument was said of Ronald Reagan. He's too conservative to win...Reagan was honest and genuine. Cruz is a deceitful fraud.
Here is what Trump would have been saying if Falwell had endorsed Ted Cruz

Listen to what he has said himself about giving money to political campaigns...
anybody know where Graham stands?
Rush L. is behind the curve on this.
He mentioned Trump has a major endorsement announcement, but they don’t know who it could be.
And if Cruz is not the nominee, then a Democrat will be President.
Another sell-out!
If Jesus is for Cruz, does that mean Cruz will win?
Or does it mean that if Cruz doesn’t win that the position of Jesus has been ignored by the voters?
apostate
Pastor Jeffress has been very conservative over the years. Do you think he is wavering now?
Trump has more than warts.
Trump is unacceptable.
He is a liberal thru and thru.
“we are just pissing into the wind.”
So we are always told to get in line, eat our peas, and get behind the candidate.
Yet when you’re given the opportunity to BACK a conservative candidate (Ted Cruz) you don’t and make some nonsensical argument about pissing into the wind because our conservative ideals cannot win...
Okay...
Glad the founding fathers didn’t just sit on their laurels and accept their king...
In Romney's defense, he ran to the right of Donald Trump.
We are going to have to pray that if Trump goes rogue its on the press, the red-green alliance and globalist trade deals.....
Falwell?
I don’t think an endorsement for the presidency rises to the level of apostasy. That would be based on denying his faith in Jesus, wouldn’t it?
Gonna sound like a broken record but...
Unless you have a working magic 8 ball, your argument is nonsensical.
By the way, the same exact argument was said of Ronald Reagan. ââ¬ÅHeââ¬â¢s too conservative to win...ââ¬Â
Hogwash!!!
Since when are we ashamed of being conservatives? Since when do we, as conservatives have to give up on our principles for the sake of winning? Or should I say, since when has that worked?
Romney, McCain, Dole... All of these progressive candidates were ââ¬Åelectableââ¬Â.
That is just an old GOPe tactic which flat out does not result in anything factual.
Cruz is certainly electable: he was elected to the US Senate, and he will be elected as our nominee, and then the next President.
. . . we will choose a Democrat as our candidate instead.
No. I think he is from Texas, and from what I’ve heard he is an acquaintance of Ted Cruz’s.
I think there’s something behind the scenes at play. Jeffress is very well connected and very smart. I think he knows how the ground game is going in Iowa.
He very clearly said on TV last night that his focus was on winning. He thinks Trump can win and that Cruz winning is less likely.
>>Falwellâs and Jeffressâ endorsements are strange to say the least.
I’m guessing neither of them will end up on the same page of history as...

It would be better if there wasn’t $100,000 involved-Even if Trump gave it of Falwell’s friend, it takes away from the endorsement.
Here is what Trump would have been sayingA spamming idiot once again running off at the mouth pretending to know what someone else, in this case a genius, would say in a hypothetical situation.
