Who is Hunter-— I did not vote in either of the primaries-— I live in NY-— Fred Thompson was my favorite but he kind of faded—— 2012— I liked Gingrich, but know his liberal side-— think Huntsman would have been my vote...2016 definitely Trump

In my state one can switch parties on primary day and that’s what I’ve done for years...I always take a Rat ballot and vote for the less (or least) electable creature.

Sadly, the nominees in 2008 and 2012 were decided before it ever got to my state — Alabama.

I am so sick of Iowa going first every time. This is a blue state and it certainly doesn’t represent my values. They should have no more input than any other state. If a candidate doesn’t do well in Iowa, it may derail his/her chances. That is why Iowa is promised so much pork every four years.

I am also sick of the open primary states where liberals and democrats help decide who the nominee is going to be. So often, it’s all decided before I ever have an opportunity.

Blue states, open primary states, and the media usually decide the nominee before I ever have a chance to vote.

I expect the GOPe to never contest any of these issues because they benefit from it.

2016: Either Cruz or Trump. I am not 100% sure yet.

2008: Huckabee
2012: Gingrich
2016: Trump

By the way, I am an Independent Conservative, and need not vote in a Republican primary. But since 2008, it just “worked out that way”, for reasons that should be obvious.

2008 VA primary late, I voted against McCain (Huckster)

2012 Santorum

2016 Still undecided, I was a solid Cruz from the day he announced, but have been impressed with Trump’s drive to win.

2008: Thompson
2012: Santorum
2016: Cruz

And FWIW In 1996 I intended to vote for B1 Bob Dornan but he didn’t make the TX ballot. So I voted for Keyes.
