Literacy tests are unconstitutional infringements on the right to vote. A government imposing a literacy test , application or license requirement, or anything else is an unconstitutional infringement on the right to keep and bear arms.

The militia is all able bodied men up to 45 years old.
The state governments are derelict in their duty to get their militia forces ready for action.

Dear City Council,
I was going to make my own gun, but that would require me to go out in the woods with an axe, find a tree and chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, ... (18 pages later) .... so I decided instead to buy one.

Well, I guess there will never be any more crime in Lowell, Mass.

the requirements to have a gun should be the same as the requirements to vote.
no id.
no tests.
no registrations.
no tracking.
if itâs good enough to shape the political power of the country, shouldnât it be enough for personal security?
Interesting perspective argument. Very original...I have never seen anyone present this!

There’s not much damage you can do if you pull out your vote in a crowded theater and start aiming it at people though.

This certainly sounds like a GREAT 2nd Amendment case for the courts. This is just SICKENING.

The essay must be similar to Jersey’s requirement that you “prove a need” to have a carry permit. The proof is never enough except for the “connected”.

Firearms and gun saftey classes should be taught in junior and senior high schools. When I went to high school in Washington, DC, my high school had a gun range and rifle team.

The homey explanation is great!

Then all those who come out for the Presidential election only should write an essay before beiong allowed to vote or at least have to answer some questions before being allowed to vote. Oh, c'mon; it's Massachusetts! Lets have a similar law requiring an essay and $1200 permit before obtaining the services of an abortionist.

one's just quicker.
