As a third-party presidential candidate, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg would likely advocate for unlimited H-1B visas and increased availability of green cards. He could easily become the tech industry's favorite presidential candidate. Learn to use R PDF cover
Bloomberg is reportedly exploring his options and sees an opening, particularly if Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination for president and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), wins the Democratic nod.

Let them camp out on your estate, Mike.
He regulated the size of soft drinks. He is a totalitarian monster. He has no chance. I hope he blows a billion dollars.
To be honest about Free Republic and from my experience about half of the Freepers would sadly agree with Bloomberg about this.
I hope he does, too. He will drain much more votes from the Rat candidate than the GOP candidate.
PS: I do not like unions but this is ridiculous.
I think you are right. No conservative will ever vote for him. He truly is unhinged if he thinks he has ANY national support. I assure you that he has as much support as George Pataki.
This is one of the issues that got Cruz in trouble.
Visas are fine when we are in an era of order and when we are not taking a bath economically, and when American college graduates (whom mom and dad sacrificed to get through expensive college to a degree) are not left serving tea at Ruth Crist Steak House.
This will not fly with working class, middle class conservatives.
Between "revolving door" immigration and unlimited visas, they're full steam ahead on pushing the economy off the cliff.
Now I would love that! If Bloomberg thinks he’s going to pull Republican/conservative/tea party voters from Trump, he’s absolutely right; they’ll desert Trump in droves! No, really, they will! Run Mike, run! Your more-New Yorker-than-Trump, gun control, high taxation, control your diet message really resonates with Americans! /sarc/
The hatred that builds towards these bigoted, anti American “elites” grows daily
I never thought I’d see the day with such pandering, unpatriotic idiots in my lifetime. Or the lifetimes of my kids and grandkids.
Will the H1B invaders take all the government jobs too? If not, why not? They are already taking every job in the private sector.

I am so sick of selling out our country’s private sector to the lowest bidder be it outsourced overseas or outsourced to an Indian consulting firm that places tech workers for pennies on the dollar.
You know, I have 3 adult children who majored in tech degrees—they worked very hard and have real jobs that contribute to the economy—chemical engineer, electrical/computer engineer, and medical laboratory scientist. They are smart and hard-working yet they are all extremely concerned about losing their jobs in this very soft economy—and the continued expansion of various foreign worker programs is likely the top contributor to their fear.
And the politicians, pundit and consultant class wonder why the electorate is outraged ?!?!?!?

Wow talk about pandering to the silicon tech elite==what a pig Bloomberg is!
Yes, this will not fly with working class and middle class conservatives—what worries me is the libs...hopefully they will get a clue that their jobs and their children’s jobs will be negatively impacted if a pig like Bloomberg were to be elected.
Good find!!

The tech companies and the Indian staffing placement companies benefit—meanwhile our kids and some of us are working at Walmart and Starbucks because high-paying tech jobs are drying up. :(
Why? Because they had their picture taken together at the same party.
I can tell. You are really a deep thinker. /s
Time for another 40 year moritorium on all immigration.
