Beck's speech continued by urging Iowans to support someone like Cruz, who he argued would take risks to bring as many Marxist atheists—like Cruz's father was when he came in from Cuba- as possible into America from foreign lands on the off chance they might end up seeing the light and becoming conservative Christians.
"So when we look at immigration, let's remember that people-if they want to come here and want to be Americans—they renew us," Beck said.
"And you never know what somebody might do. There was a Marxist, a Marxist who didn't really realize how Marxist he was that moved into the United States. A guy who fought in a revolution for Marxist principles. He was a little nuts, a little crazy at the time-almost lost his life in fact in the struggle. Came over here, he was an atheist. Didn't believe in God. Now, who wants that guy here? Except that guy happens to be Rafael Cruz who fell in love with our principles, fell in love with our country, and raised a man who could be the next president of the United States."

Did this guy really say this? Is this people’s cube satire? Was it intended as humor? Cruz wants to bring in atheist immigrants so they can convert? I pray that that speech was not vetted.

I watched some of his shows where he took apart SEIU (If I got that correct) and the like. It was good stuff, way back.
I can only assume some leftist GOPe got to him, one way or another. I don’t know if it was just the Goldline thing or what.

The fact remains that he was beyond foolish to suggest such nonsense in light of the “Syrian” Muslim “refugee” issue, the San Bernardino attack, the Paris attacks, and the ongoing illegal alien problem - which he acknowledged. At best, his anecdote was ill-advised under these circumstances. That’s being kind.

I don’t have a dog in this race just yet. I really like Cruz and I’m warming up to Trump. I wish this nonsense mudslinging on the R side would stop, but it’s not. These guys want to win and going dirty wins.
Having said all of that, polls involving Sanders at this point are worthless. People know Hillary. They don’t know Sanders. Once Sanders starts running his mouth, those numbers will certainly tighten up.
People only know Sanders through internet memes and 1 minute news clips. Once they see him in action, they’ll turn away.
The guy is a train wreck. I know the Dems are in panic mode seeing this guy getting the numbers he is getting. While he certainly represents their left wing ambitions and wouldn’t cut off the DC “free money” faucet, he’s not capable of winning.
Hillary is their only hope. Minorities and the “young mushy mind” crowd will only see “old white guy” regardless of what he’s saying ... they won’t come out in droves like they did for Obama.
Hope you are right about the polls, but its the the young mushy minded crowd who are his biggest supporters at the moment - as far as I can tell. Whether or not they actually vote (hopefully only once) is any one’s guess.
But they do want the free stuff their educators have told them will be theirs under a socialist regime with all the social justice they can swallow.
I just listened to Becks entire speech and for the life of me, can’t figure out what is so “whacko” or even incorrect, with anything he said. He is spot on, and makes PERFECT sense, to anyone with a thinking brain.
Is this world so upside down that the views of a conservative, wanting to stand by faith, freedom the principles of the constitution, is now considered wrong? Are so many on FR that upside down in their thinking, that they can’t even see the truth in what Beck said?
I’m literally beside myself that so many are twisting his words, too. And it pisses me off, that he’s getting bashed for espousing the same freakin views as so many here, even the owner of this site, have espoused, for so long. I just don’t get it....
Those who support the guy who love the Clintons, Pelosi and Reid seize upon the tiniest minnows of out-of context remarks and feast like piranhas. They don’t have to think about the frailties and inadequacies of their own man Trump when they are chortling derisive comments in unison. *shrug*
I quit watching or listening to this idiot a long time ago. I got tired of crap. You try to listen to his radio show? There are three or four people on there and they all talk and yell at the same time and you cannot understand a danged thing anyone of them is saying. Just a bunch of gibberish. We were in the car and my wife heard that mess and she said, “who the hell is that mob?” And my wife never uses cuss words!!! That shows you how shocked she was at those fools. But, trying to listen to four people talk at once is like trying to make out what Beck is saying when he is the only one talking.

If Sanders were to win and the Republicans manage to hold on to the House, his crazy budget proposals won’t even get to the starting line.
