Beck's speech continued by urging Iowans to support someone like Cruz, who he argued would take risks to bring as many Marxist atheistsâlike Cruz's father was when he came in from Cuba- as possible into America from foreign lands on the off chance they might end up seeing the light and becoming conservative Christians.
"So when we look at immigration, let's remember that people-if they want to come here and want to be Americansâthey renew us," Beck said.
"And you never know what somebody might do. There was a Marxist, a Marxist who didn't really realize how Marxist he was that moved into the United States. A guy who fought in a revolution for Marxist principles. He was a little nuts, a little crazy at the time-almost lost his life in fact in the struggle. Came over here, he was an atheist. Didn't believe in God. Now, who wants that guy here? Except that guy happens to be Rafael Cruz who fell in love with our principles, fell in love with our country, and raised a man who could be the next president of the United States."

Carson would stab Beck in his belt buckle.
Ballin’ Boehner’s old chair!
The Dismantling of a Presidential Campaign (How I Did It)
a new book by Glenn Beck, formerly a friend of Ted Cruz.
“Diggin’ graves in the backyard didn’t draw any attention.”
LOL!
And seven months ago no one through Trump would even file the papers to run, let alone where he is in the polls now. If Trump wins the first few states in the primary, watch the numbers change between him and any Dem candidate.
“One of these things is not like the other...”
I am so upset over this .. Beck has gone off the rails.
Cruz is not starting a ministry or a church, he’s supposed to be running for President, not Pastor. I admire his Christian faith; but as President, that is not your main focus .. the main focus is keeping America safe, not converting her citizens.
I am going to be sending a letter to all the Cruz offices, declaring I will not support anything that has Beck involved. He is NOT A CHRISTIAN .. he is a Mormon .. and the two are NOT RELATED.
You can be insulted if you so choose, but this is a BIG DISASTER for Cruz’s campaign.
And .. I’m seriously considering stopping my monthly donation to the Cruz campaign over this new alignment with Beck.
That is the question. I doubt anyone forced Cruz to have Beck there.
I was going to vote for Cruz in Nov if he got the nomination...
Not now...
Beck is trying to do Romney Redux...
Beck is not smart enough nor humble enough to have done this deliberately.
From the article;
You Never know What someone will Do ,,!?!
WTF?
Cruz goes Beck,
Trump goes Palin ,,,
something is going on,,
Where is my shot glass ?
Wow Breitbart has gone full Trumpanzee.
That’s as sad as what has happened to large parts of FR.
Hank
And yes they will change as of this morning a Fox News poll on a contest in the General between DJT and Sanders had Sanders trumping Trump by 22 points 56-34 ... there other polls which say much the same ... Bernie wins the General.
Young voters will be coming out in droves to vote for him and all the free socialist stuff they believe he offers ... curtsy of conservatives ceding the educational system to liberals. Old folks - not me - will be voting for the increases SS benefits he plans to hand out. Wall St will be busy selling off and hunkering down for the huge predicted Sanders-inspired economic depression. Divest and buy your survival gear now!
Hmmmm....Nope...not even close...
Hahaha...But to talk to them, they think everything you say is the opposite.
The New York values thing was the dumbest thing I had ever heard, and from a professional debater. Before then, he had won. But he had to be too cute by 1/2.
I’m sure he thought of this before hand...and put it in his knapsack of debate quips...
It resonates... because it gave Trump ad Reagan moment..ie “William F. Buckley is from Manhattan.” Wow!!!
Already stocked up. However, I do think it interesting the last election of the country as we know it may very well be between a billionaire capitalist and a millionaire socialist...think how that reads in the history books of the future. To quote Ben Franklin, “You have your Republic, if you can keep it”...
‘Or a bad country song.’
Too funny!
