Huh? Glenn Beck Tells Iowa Crowd He Prefers Bernie Sanders Over Donald Trump
The Gateway Pundit ^
Posted on 01/24/2016 7:44:58 AM PST by springwater13
Beck said he had never endorsed a presidential candidate in his 40 years of broadcasting, but he made an exception because of the urgency of the moment.
He said he even prefers Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a self-proclaimed "democratic socialist" running in the Democratic presidential primary, to Trump.
"Honesty, faith and truth are basic requirements. And quite honestly, I have to tell you, this probably isn't going to go over very well, that's why I like Bernie Sanders," he said. "Bernie Sanders is like, 'Yep, I'm a socialist.'
"I can actually sit at a table with a man who says, 'Yes, I'm a socialist, and yes, I don't like what we are doing, we should be more like Denmark,' " he added.

Say what????
Bernie over Trump.
Many of here posted warning signs when Cruz allowed Beck to
endorse him. We said it was not a good idea.
Unfortunately for Cruz, It was not a good decision.

Nothing new. IIRC, he also said he probably would have voted for Hillary over McCain. One thing to stay home or write in if you’re not happy. Quite another to cast your vote for the enemy.

Yep actually appearing with Beck as if he’s a big deal is a mistake.

This much I’ll say for Bernie Sanders: He doesn’t try to hide who he is.
I’d love a Cruz-Sanders race for the clarity of the choice.

Lot of that going around.
The Palin endorsement the other night could easily be viewed as "a little unusual".

How did Cruz do this? Beck did.
The jerk should shut up and quit claiming Ted is hid best friend.

So Beck RAILS on Trump every day for 3 hours on the radio because he thinks some of Trumps positions are just like progressives positions. But he would rather have a fricking full on communist over Trump? WTF.

When you turn on a porch light, it draws bugs.
The bugs Cruz is drawing seem to be the fringes - Beck listeners and 100%ers ...
Not that there is anything wrong with that. They are following their heart.

This I agree with. No way, no how will I vote for trump the charlatan liberal. Ever.
But I sure as hell would not ever vote Sanders or Hillary either. I would vote in all the down streams and either leave that race empty or write in.

He said he even prefers Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a self-proclaimed "democratic socialist" running in the Democratic presidential primary, to Trump. A man is to be judged by the moral judgments he pronounces. The things he prefers exist in objective reality and are open to the independent appraisal of others. It is his own moral character and moral standards that he reveals when he prefers evil to good. It is the nature of his own soul that he confesses.

That’s true. And if they’re going to say that Cruz wasn’t in a position to reject Beck’s endorsement, then he doesn’t belong in the US Senate, much less in the White House.
A man is known by the company he keeps.
