Bitter Truce Fox News Ailes FURIOUS at NR's Lowry for Forcing Fox to Cede Moral High Ground to Trump

Ailes is mad at Lowry because this move means, in the ongoing war between Fox News and Trump, Fox News has now "given up the moral high ground." Essentially, Ailes understands, that means his network looks like the unfair aggressor that Trump has accused it of being -rather than a neutral arbiter of the news - all while Trump continues soaring in the 2016 GOP primary polls.

But on Wednesday evening, Lowry appearing on Kelly's program compromised Fox's position in the war by veering down a vulgar path in his attack on Trump. Even Kelly, who also dislikes Trump, clearly was shocked at what Lowry said live on air, reacting "What did you just say? You can't say that!"

Fox has not officially announced that they have reprimanded Lowry, and there are no media reports of that at this time.

It’s been a pleasure being around all you Trump supporters. I’d been gone from FR for a year or two. What’s great about this ‘Trump campaign’ is the way many of us who never agreed on much seem to all get it now. I haven’t had this much fun since...well,that’s private.. ;<)

Your right about the similar overall graphic style, which of course rules any market place material for a time.

The BSA illustrations are different in that all but two indicate immediate activity, the compass reader showing the path, the general marching with group interaction. The Jamboree poster suggests a greeting just out of the frame. Oddly enough, the one appearing to be by Norman Rockwell most closely follows the Soviet pattern of looking towards a distant future horizon, albeit with different purpose. White propaganda is ours, black propaganda is theirs, mostly...sometimes. ;>)

>> I wonder just how much the NRO Foundation coffers have swelled around this unprecedented attack

No doubt by some amount.

The Establishment and its minions are feeling the heat. And they know we’re not buying the BS they’re selling.
