that you will not vote under any circumstance for Trump, even if he gets the nomination, will get you the zot.

Maybe my intent to vote 3rd party (most conservative) was an exception

You want to go back two to thirty years, but you don't want to look at his platformm.

Perhaps that's because the only indicator we have to judge how a politician might act in office is by his record. And Trump's record has been liberal most of his life, by his own admission. You may be willing to take his recent claim to conservative principles at face value, but many of us are not.

Look, this is a man who could not even be honest with the most important people in his life - why should we expect he will be honest with us?

Funny...

Trump just did a little crony capitalism of his own in Iowa... Buying votes with my money...

Yet you think a little crony capitalism here and there is okay when you guy is doing it. If he can’t get the small things right I don’t know why you expect he’ll get the big things right.

LOL. And let me see, 137 out of a thousand don’t want to cut their property in half.

Kindly explain how they block it.

Thank you for posting that REAL story from Hong Kong. Incidentally I had the good fortune to visit Hong Kong 2 years ago, and it is a great city!

I don’t believe that you would not vote for Trump over “The She Witch From Hell”.

If The Trump is for eminent domain, then eminent domain is the conservative position.

That's not what he is saying. What he is saying is if you are going to have a civilized society with some form of governmental structure it is a necessary thing. The extent of which it is used will be something to be aired in the court of public opinion. It's just common sense talk from the man. Nothing radical like he wants to build a casino in every hometown. Lmao.

He would stay home, and bitch when Hillary won. Almost as much as he would bitch if Trump won.

The “take my toys and go home” losers gave us the 2nd Obama term.

Thanks, purist losers. It cost our nation lots of things.

And yet when Cruz bad mouthed Proposition 187 to Bush, it wasn’t indicative of him being a RINO.

The problem is, not one Cruz guy want’s to face up to what he has been.

So instead we get out the anal prob for Trump, and Cruz is deemed the immaculate Conservative.

Sorry, I’m not on board that. I bring up the fact that Cruz backed John Roberts, and folks couldn’t be bothered. Why anyone could have done that.

Cruz did it. It wasn’t just anyone.

Of course you do know that Cruz supports eminent domain also.

Cruz does not support the use of eminent domain to take private property from one private party in order to give it to another private party - but then you know that. Cruz does support eminent domain as defined in the Constitution - to be taken with just compensation for PUBLIC USE. At this point, I'm not even sure Trump can spell Constitution...

“and it is a great city!”

It is less great than it used to be. It is rapidly becoming just another Chinese city

Do you support Kelo v. New London CT like Donald Trump does both in word and in practice? Yes or no? Do you think this (watch the entire video) is an appropriate use of eminent domain powers? Yes or no?

No one in the contiguous 48 states owns any real estate.

Get over it.

Okay, so the concept of private property doesn't matter to Trump supporters any more.

Actually, it's more of a natural, personal, and Constitutional right than a "concept", but that's cool, because Trump says some really cool, really funny $h!1, so it's okay to disregard that.

What are you talking about? Prop. 187 was a California proposition, and it was back in the 90's, before Bush was elected president anyway.

This topic is a waste of oxygen. There are hundreds of thousands of miles of pipeline buried underground in this country, and now all of a sudden it’s a hot topic. Let’s focus on hundreds of thousands of invaders coming into this country. There will be several 911s and some are worried about pipes and frogs.

A few things.

All the things you listed are public use except the pipeline (unless it was a public pipeline, like water). They are not the same. I know people (including myself) that have large energy pipelines on their property (different pipelines not just neighbors) and non of them were forced to accept the pipeline on their property through eminent domain. All involved easements and leases that were voluntary.

With Kelo, they can take your house for “fair market value” instead of whatever it takes to get you to sell it. So your seven times is out the window now.

Last, there are people who’ve lived on their property over many generations and don’t want to sell for any price. No private entity should be able to override a persons right to their property.
