Trump Spokesman Flat out Lies about Trump’s Own Words
Redstate ^ | Leon H. Wolf

Posted on 01/23/2016 11:15:46 AM PST by JSDude1

Life as a Trump spokesperson has got to be a degrading existence. Your job, essentially, is to defend every public utterance of a guy who changes positions every half hour, but refuses to ever admit that he has ever been wrong. As the Right Scoop notes, part of the job description of being a Trump spokesman is literally believing that Donald Trump has never been wrong, even when Donald Trump disagrees with previous things Donald Trump has said.

Supporters of other candidates do not have to do this. Rubio's supporters don't have to say that Rubio was never involved in Gang of 8 or that it wasn't a mistake, because Rubio admits it. Cruz's supporters don't have to say that he has never supported a massive increase in H-1B visas or that this wasn't a mistake because Cruz admits it. Cruz and Rubio are actual Christians, see, which means they understand that human beings are fallible and make mistakes, and that admitting your mistakes is part of what makes you a quality person.

Donald Trump also has an infallible god, and his name is Donald Trump, and all who follow him must accept this truth. Watch Trump spokesman Corey Lewandowski flat out lie and say that Trump never said that he needed to "get a little establishment." Credit for finding this video goes to the Right Scoop.

Berman: It's just, do you agree with Donald Trump that you need to be a little bit establishment?

Lewandowski: He didn't say we need to be a little bit establishment..

Berman: He did!

Lewandowski: What he said is you need to put people in a room to get things done. What we need to do is to fix anything, people are so..

Berman: (checking notes) Isn't that what he literally said?

Have you ever seen how he handles work at a job site. I thought it was funny. This video was purely one sided against Trump on how he dealt with a junk collector next to his golf course. Picture putting in a golf course and there is a junk yard next to the golf course? What would you do?

Trumps solution. He was going to help him clean up his house and everyone would make out because his house value would go up more then what the junk was worth. The junk collector refused. Trump put in a huge mound of dirt so those playing on the golf course can't see the junk yard. The idiot hated that solution. I thought it was freaking funny.

Trump's vicious attack on farmer!

It's interesting these days on FR supporting Trump marginally (and with really quite simple, practical reasons) over Cruz.

It's as if Jim R has secretly bought Democratic Underground, woven it into this site, and paid the DU'ers to attack Trump supporters with all the same emotion they used to use to attack Free Republic - all the same rabid collective hypnosis - all the same name calling and mock disdain - all the same intellectual superiority. It's funny - but - you who are like them - ought to look at yourselves in the mirror.

There are good reasons to prefer Trump, good reasons to prefer Cruz. But there's never a good reason to act like DU. And frankly, I don't see Trump supporters in such numbers wearing diapers like the Trump haters.

Amusing, a little disconcerting that many on our side are like that though.

I don’t know, but he can wipe out all the immigration EOs!

Donald J. Trump: We need to be a little Establishment...

Trump spokesman Corey Lewandowski: He didn’t say we need to be a little bit establishment.

Trumpism at work.

Cruz 2012:

http://www.texastribune.org/2012/06/20/illegal-immigration-flashpoint-us-senate-race/

“The Republican Party of Texas recently revised its party platform to include support for a national guest-worker program. Cruz said he opposes such programs. Dewhurst has expressed support for such a program in the past, but spokesman Matt Hirsch said Tuesday that Dewhurst would not back any program that allows a path to citizenship.

Cruz supports building a wall along the entire U.S.-Mexico border. Dewhurst has said he supports building a wall only along certain stretches of the border.”

Trump:"I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot people and I wouldn't lose voters."

The sad part is that it's true. The Trump supporters would deny that it happened, then excuse it, all the time moaning that it's just the Establishment trying to hurt him.

And if you object to shooting people in the middle of Fifth Avenue, well, you're just not a real conservative!

Did not follow them that long. Sheesh. Who is their candidate? Cruz.

Seriously, I like Cruz but I don’t think he can beat the Dems candidates.

Oh my god. I am so freaking sick of this. Every 4 years, every conservative running. The RINOS, media and liberals tell us who to vote for by telling telling us who’s unelectable and supposed conservative voters BELIEVE THEM. How about voting IN THE PRIMARIES for the best person for the job? Why is that such a strange idea.?

Iowa caucus will reveal a lot. Polls may not but Trump is getting huge crowds.

I really do not want either of the Dems commies in there. The supreme court is coming up and they will further spend us into oblivion. Refugee and illegals coming in by the bucketload will change the demographics forever of this country. It’s a serious election. Sometimes your fav is not the one who will get elected but my guess on Cruz is not based on any media people telling me that, it is based on his polls.

>>You should be more concerned that a man NOT born on American soil thinks he can be President.<<

While this may be true, I think the UNDENIABLE issue is that Cruz was still a CANADIAN CITIZEN in 2014! HELLO, PEOPLE! ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION??? (Do you seriously believe he “forgot” or didn’t know??)

For me, this is so WRONG, when what the nation needs desperately is an AMERICAN NATIONALIST, before it’s too late.

Only a GLOBALIST would carry Canadian citizenship into the U.S. Senate.

It’s not even that it’s 24/7, it’s that a bunch of it is lies.

I see the Cruz fanatics are just to the point now where anyone who doesn’t buy into their RedState links is a liberal. Personally, I stopped clicking on them because of the lies and clickbait. “OMG JOY BEHAR ENDORSED TRUMP!” “BOB DOLE ENDORSES TRUMP!” “TRUMP GOLDMAN LOANS!!1!”

You click through and read the actual facts, and the spin put on by RedState is mind-boggling and, more to the point, an abject lie in most cases.

I don’t have much of a stomach for outright fabrication. RedState has lost what little credibility they had left with me. Not clicking anymore. I hate to close out a possible source of information, but actions have consequences.

Here is the speech:

The “Establishment”part starting at 26:19:

“And you know what, there’s a point at which let’s get to be a little establishment; we’ve got to get things done, folks. Okay. Believe me, don’t worry. We’re going to make such great deals. But at a certain point you can’t be so strident, you can’t not get along. We got to get along with people. You know in the old days Ronald Reagan, and I remember it so vividly, I was a young guy, I helped Ronald Reagan, I really like him. ...So what happens, Ronald Reagan would get along with Tip O’Neill. And they’d sit down and they’d make great deals for everybody. That’s what the country’s about really isn’t it? You know. I mean we can all be tough and we can be the ...but you know at some point we gotta get our country back on track.”

Wow, 3 mind-changers for Cruz. Four for Rubio. Six for Carson. 177 for Trump.

I wonder who the biggest flip-flopper is. Hmmmm, so hard to discern that.

"Leon H. Wolf spends every hour of every day writing anti-Trump articles.""Is Leon H. Wolf an actual person, or a pen name used by a group of writers?"

I think it's just one guy. It's not a hard job. Looking for Trump contradictions is like searching for sand on the seashore.
