Real-estate mogul Donald Trump got some great news Thursday afternoon in the form of a new CNN/ORC poll showing him pulling ahead in Iowa.
That survey showed him leading his top rival, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), 37% to 26%, among likely Iowa caucus-goers.
But the CNN poll was apparently too recent for Trump to tout at a Thursday rally in Las Vegas, Nevada. Instead, Trump boasted about his results in another recent Iowa poll, from Emerson College, that found him beating Cruz 33% to 23%.

LOL
Yes, I am looking forward to watching Trump be a sore winner after the horrid 8 years we’ve been through...
Ehhhhhhh, I dunno.
I don’t like ethanol subsidies; it should be able to stand on its own merits or not. But it’s ultimately a tiny thing compared to what’s at stake in this election.
Cruz is simply too squishy on illegals. Don has a plan that might be able to save our electoral process from the liberals and establishment if it’s implemented. And that’s the only real thing that matters, because if we lose on this point, we lose on every other point in the near future.
The cruz supporters have done an awesome job of destroying the village to save it. And likely dealt their own candidate a mortal political wound. I wouldn’t bet on cruz being re-elected to his senate seat at this point.
Are you kidding?
Everyone knows what Ted meant by NYC values, and he was right on the money.
It was after that that the Don started swinging wildly.
Deserves a repost, of an earlier post.....
Sarah Palin dealt a lethal body slam to Ted CRuz....who was already incapacitated by his own self-neutering, performed at the last debate.
;-)
uh, margin of error.
Why does the Don want to increase ethanol mixes with Gov subsidies when we have so mush oil the are literally giving it away?
To be more precise, some producers of oil are paying to have it taken off their hands.
Cruz supporters are never happy. Now they have something else to be miserable about.
So the establishment is all in to defeat the only Constitutional conservative running. Sounds like a lot of Freepers are all in too.

Nah.
Looks more to me like the establishment has gone through the grieving process, has hit ‘acceptance’ and are trying to suck up to Trump.
Did you watch that debate?
I sure did.
And Ted Cruz will change with the wind...
Rubio during last GOP debate:
^When you talk about immigration. Ted Cruz, you used to say you supported doubling the number of green cards, now you say you are against it. You used to support 500 percent increase in the number of guest workers, now against it. You used to support legalizing people here illegally. Now against it. You used to say you were in favor of birthright citizenship. Now you are against it. Not just on immigration, you used to support TPA, now you are against it. I saw you on the Senate floor flip your vote on crop insurance because they told you it would help you in Iowa. And last week we saw you flip the vote on Iowa for the same reason. That is not consistent conservatism. That is political calculation.^
Wrong! The CNN poll is based includes those who have attended before AND those who have never attended before.
Of course Nate Silver does not want Trump to win. He is a democrat, and wants nominee Cruz against Hillary.

I did take a close look.
That’s why I’m voting Trump. Not because I think that he’s anywhere near perfect, but because he’s the only one in the race able to take on the entire Washington establishment and win.
I like Cruz, but I don’t think that he has the stamina and the boldness to do it. With some of the stuff that has come out lately, I’m not even sure that he’s got the will to do so.
LOL from Canada born Rafael’s lips....change withe wind!

The establishment isnât scared of Trump, they are embarrassed by him. Cruz scares the hell out of them.
Is there anything you won’t ignore or spurn to be true to Trump?
