GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared to walk back his campaign spokesmanâs earlier comments about Gov. Sarah Palinâs expected endorsement of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump in Ames, Iowa on Tuesday evening.

I don’t think they are really his supports but are operative divided the top two outsiders so a Bush can move up
Or even the VP position, which will prepare him either futher for the WH in the future.
Or keep a Bush OUT.
Aren’t you special!
No less than SENATOR CRUZ himself CREDITS Sarah Palin.
Less vitriol from you would go along way around here.
Thanks very much.
Honest tweet is right, dear onyx.
I am truly disgusted by the many posts I’m reading here, today, questioning our dear Sarah’s faith and character.
Sarah is free to endorse whomever she pleases. As a Trump supporter (former CRuz supporter) I say, Brava, Sarah!!
I love @SarahPalinUSA Without her support, I wouldn't be in the Senate. Regardless of what she does in 2016, I will always be a big fan.— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 19, 2016
Cruz shows grace and humility with his classy response. Character is tested in the crucible of success and setbacks, but often it revels itself most clearly in the face of disappointments. In contrast to being a character, Cruz has character and it shows.
IMO jR needs to post another vanity-— lay the law down
And you would be calling her the greatest American since George Washington.
Well then I guess you disagree with Cruz on this. At Cpac he credited her for his senate win.
Take me off the Sarah Palin Posts. I am no longer a fan.
Not all of us "Cruzermans". Im a Cruz supporter, but that does not make me anti-Trump or anti-Palin. I know who the enemy is, and it aint them.
Yes, Class act after slapped by Bristol Palin
I think the sentiment is mutual. Palin was in a spot of having to choose. It’s just business, and nobody’s life is ruined for losing an election.
No...her son will do more damage then any Cruz supporter will....no wonder they brought her endorsement under the wire of her sons arrest last night.....3 counts...weapons charge, domestic violence situation...her kids do tell their own story....
What is said about the apple not falling....
UGH.
I haven’t read any!
I’ve been sick and remain sick, but I’ve got to go to the store!
I’ll try to read some threads later tonight.
All the nasty posts and hatred around here has to stop.
Well, you disagree with Ted Cruz who just said he wouldn’t be in the Senate without Palin’s help.
Well said, well put, I wholeheartedly agree.
Ultimately, I think we'll have a Trump/Cruz ticket, assuming that Senator Cruz continues to campaign. Between the two of them, during the primaries, they'll keep pushing the rest of the field into one corner or the other, and keep building support for themselves. They have enough in common that either could be the POTUS nominee, and enough differences that they split everyone else' supporters when each failed candidate drops out.
After the rest of the field has dropped out or 'suspended the campaign', the only people not able to support either Trump or Cruz are A) those who support the Demwit candidate, either after months of pretense, or because their RINO failed (and that's assuming they'd ultimately pick the RINO over the Demwit); and B) those stupid and ignorant enough to believe that Obama was no worse than McCain or Romney would have been.
