The U.S. Supreme Court, which delivered major rulings in 2012 and 2015 preserving President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law, on Tuesday declined to take up a new, long-shot challenge to Obamacare brought by an Iowa artist.
The court turned away an appeal by Matt Sissel, who had asserted that the 2010 Affordable Care Act violated the U.S. Constitution's requirement that revenue-raising legislation must originate in the House of Representatives, not in the Senate, as the healthcare law did.

Constitution. What’s that?
The plain wording of the Constitution no longer matters.
It’s a tax. It’s not a tax. I wish the Justices would make up their minds. But they’re just winging it I guess.
It’s a back and forth thing. The bills DO still originate in the House. They get written up by both houses and are not necessarily passed in order.
Simple, plain English means nothing to SCOTUS
led by Roberts. Law will never be the same.
Don’ forget Cruz said Roberts was the right guy for the job.

Then we can just throw the bums out.
The Senate has been has been amending House bills this way for over 150 years.
I think disallowing or limiting the practice would be good but didn’t expect the SC to do so.
Blackmail is a very useful technique to get what you want. Both with the Supreme Court and with Congress.
Trump is right about Roberts
It’s becoming moot because Obamacare is about to come apart at the seams anyhow.
Humana is joining United Healthcare in pulling out of the exchanges. We’re either going to get free market reforms or Bernie and Single Payer.
Roberts’ rulings before the USSC appointment and after are polar opposites. Cruz was fooled like the rest of us.
I have said from the beginning that Health Care was here to stay, I correctly stated that the Supremes would never undo it and here is further proof. Our politicians want this and so do their donors never mind that it is financially unsustainable, it will not collapse the quality of health care will just be reduced to meet the available funds no different than any other function involving services. If you can't afford gasoline you will necessarily curtail your travel.
The only exception I can see would be total world wide economic collapse then everything is up for grabs including a total monarchy which is what the people will demand.
1Sa 8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
1Sa 8:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
1Sa 8:7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.
1Sa 8:18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
Activist Judges. It’s how they got gay marriage laws overturned in the states. Will probably use the same federal activist judges for gun control.
IOW, the Supreme Court neitehr understands nor cares about the Constitution.

Shortly after OBAMACARE was passed a reporter interviewed one of the sponsors, Barney Frank about the challenges ahead for the legislation.
Franks’ reply was very frank. This is just a step on the road to single payer universal insurance.”
The Dems knew at the time that it wasn’t sustainable as written but the collapse would lead to full blown national health insurance run by the government.
