Any suggestion @tedcruz was referring to 9/11 is absurd- he was obviously referring to the liberal values of NY politicians such as... 1:14 PM - 18 Jan 2016

Just heard that on Mark Levin.
So many are so easily misled by the Media AND Trump.
Trump is like a Pied Piper.
I like that he has brought up issues that were hush hush but that is where it ends with me for him.
Who?
I’m surprised anyone even saw his tweet ;-)
I agree with Pataki. I felt like Cruz was referring to liberal cesspool that is NYC politics.
I also have no problem with Trump’s response either... at least at the debate.
That is clear for anyone with a functioning brain. Cruz specifically cited the Russert interview with Trump as the source of his definition while openly applauding the efforts of New Yorkers in overcoming 9/11. Only a lying Democrat would substitute a false narrative of Cruz’s statement.
Yes, was listening too.
NY Governor during the 9/11 attacks yet he completely understands what Cruz was saying. Schumer, Hillary, Bloomberg, and all the other liberal values. Doesn’t mean every New Yorker is a liberal just like not everyone in WA States is.
Amazing. Even George Pataki gets it.
Petaki has always been a stout supporter of Conservatives.
Good man...
</good grief moment>
Its also important to note that NY was hardly on their own in the aftermath of 9/11. Thousands of firemen and policemen as well as other “civilians” flowed into NY to help. Not to mention billions in taxpayer dollars.
The only ones who don’t get it are liberals and Trump.
But I repeat myself...
The question was not about being critical of 9/11. It was about New York values.
There were some wonderful values on display that day. Yep, even in NYC. Values are not regional. There are bad people with bad values all over the country. Small town America has a bad meth, crack and heroin habit. Murder is everywhere.
NY elects Dems like most big cities. Unfortunate, but true. That still does not mean that people should be painted with
a wide brush. Good people reside all over the place. Even in NYC.
Oh so NOW Pataki is not a GOPe stooge, but the sage wise govenor that we must now listen to...because he shows up to try to pull Cruz out of the fire?
That's the simple truth of the matter. Only a demagogic blowhard would make anything else out of it.
Anyone with a brain knows this. Yet that slime ball Trump had to exploit it.
It was quite clear that Cruz was referring to lib values. Anybody who doesn’t get that is about as smart as the Oberlin twits that protested the lack of racial diversity in the college’s cafeteria food selection.
You realize it was Trump that was doing the painting, right? Cruz was referencing Trump's own statements about New York values.
yep. so obvious Cruz was slamming new york’s marxist values. Odd that trump doesn’t condemn new york’s marxists value oh yeah he helped fund them into power!!!!
Not saying that at all. Just showing that not all NY politicians are narrow mindex and trying to steer a comment in a direction that was no way near the intended target.
