The Prime Ministerâs Office dismissed as âunacceptable and wrongâ uncharacteristically sharp public criticism of Israelâs legal standards leveled Monday by US envoy Dan Shapiro, who said at times there seemed to be one standard of law in the West Bank for Israelis, and another for Palestinians.
âAs Israel's devoted friend, and its most stalwart partner, we believe that Israel must develop stronger and more credible responses to questions about the rule of law in the West Bank,â Shapiro said during an address at the annual Institute for Strategic Studies (INSS) Conference in Tel Aviv.
Noting that the recent indictments in the Duma murders âare an important demonstration of Israel's commitment to prosecute acts of terrorism, regardless of their source,â Shapiro added, however, that âtoo many attacks on Palestinians lack a vigorous investigation or response by Israeli authorities.â
âToo much vigilantism goes unchecked, and at times there seems to be two standards of adherence to the rule of law, one for Israelis, and another for Palestinians,â he asserted.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I agree.Israel can declare him persona non grata and there’s nothing Obama or Kerry could do about it.
Only this administration would send a self-hating anti-semite as envoy to Israel.
Kick Valerie Jarrett out.
Kick Robert Malley out.
With capo-Nazi “friends” like this, Jerusalem doesn’t need enemies
Kick Susan Rice out.
Kick Samantha Power out.
Big mouth Capo Shapiro knows full well that Israel is living with over a million enemy ‘troops’ occupying key (central location, high ground) parts of her land. The presence of these occupiers inside Israel represents a serious danger to her and her people.
Israel will undoubtably have to remove that danger from her midst, as a matter of simple self-defense (and logic).
(Obama/Shapiro/Hitler/Soros/Gobbels/Kerry will really get their undies in a super-sized “bunch” then... ha!)

Until then, I don’t see a problem with a bit of vigilantism when necessary.
ObAma no friend of Israel
He's almost right -- there are three standards, rather than two. The first one could almost be called a non-standard, which is the one the Obama regime applies to the practitioners of every act of terrorism throughout the world, including on US soil. The second is the la-dee-dah standard the regime applies to everyone else, whenever it's expedient. The third is the one the regime applies to Israel. Thanks Nachum.
