Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump began his Monday-morning speech on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by touting his "record" crowd size there.
Trump was speaking in Lynchburg, Virginia, at Liberty University's convocation. The Republican presidential front-runner noted that he also drew a big audience in 2012 when he addressed the Christian university.

Trump dedicates to MLK -— DT, soon to be panderer in chief.
I don’t see Trump as a practicing Christian, but he appears to respect those who are, unlike so many others.
True, but which of the candidates hasn't genuflected before Martin Luther King? The only other anti-establishment candidate, Ted Cruz, was just as smarmy and oily in his praise of MLK.
I guess there are certain sacred cows that not even the most edgy conservative candidates won't dare touch.
And this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3385172/
makes Cruz, what? Me too, Ted, again?

“record”
In quotes from Business Insider - doing the GOPe subtle work.
How’s about your boy Jeb Bush? What was his last record crowd? 5 sleeping people?
“DT, soon to be panderer in chief.”
Honestly you anti Trump folks are the absolute looniest I have ever seen!
Students are required to attend these things.
OH OH the Nuclear Flag!!!
Thank You!!!
Jerry Falwell JR. made an intro that pointed out some of the many instances where Trump helped out deserving people
on a one to one basis.
It was as close as one could get to a non endorsement endorsement.
The speech was typical polished Trump, and the record sized audience ate it up. A real connection with people.
I especially agree with Trump on the need for Christians to stand up against Anti Christian bigotry in America.
I hope that people think about this problem. We should not tolerate it in government like against the Little sisters and Christian hospitals and abortion services, and the media making sport of Christian beliefs. We don’t want them to get away with doing this any longer.
Trump yet again brings up a point that the PC crowd won’t touch.
“Students are required to attend these things.”
But they don’t have to applaud or cheer!
If you’re talking to me, I don’t care for Jeb Bush either. If you’re talking to the author, Colin Campbell, I have no idea who he supports.
Oh look, a meme! How edgy! /sarc
Look, we see it as pandering, but remember, who most of the electorate out there are, morons.
But like it or not, we need the votes from those morons to win.
To Business Insider. We’ve seen similar from IBD though they pulled one hit piece rather quickly; not long after I called them out.

Oh, PRAISE BE. DONALD TRUMP (PEACE BE UPON HIM) will restore the Christian values (that are so dear to TRUMP’s heart and upon which he bases his own personal values).
Considering your most prolific pro Trump posters number among them a Clinton supporter (admitted), several pro choicers, a No Lables progressive and random loonies that think TC is Canadian, I wouldn’t throw that stone with much force.
