"We don't have a country if we don't have borders. We will build a great wall and it will keep illegal immigrants out."
"With that said, we are gonna have a beautiful door right in the middle of it and people are going to come in our country legally."

A door is a limited space of controlled entry. Even safes have doors, and yet a good safe is able to deter unauthorized entry pretty well.
Besides, the idea is not to block every possible immigrant. It is to permit only those who are willing to follow the law and are wanting to move here for a reason that our nation decides is legit, in line with our nation’s best interests.

If you take all of our aid to Mexico and apply it to the wall, it will take over 60 years to pay for. Why on earth would Mexico pay anything for it?

I walked up to those flower pots,aware that the border was right there,and saw an RCMP car about 15 yards away.The cop was about to drive off when he saw me and,thinking that I might cross to the other side of the flower pots,shook his head at me as if to say "don't do it" and I just waved at him...knowing I never had any intention of crossing.
If only the mutual respect shown at our northern border was present on our southern one as well!
