Today on CNN's State of the Nation, Jake Tapper revisited an old question with Donald Trump. He asked him about his faith and specifically about if he had ever asked forgiveness. By my count this is the third time that Trump has been asked the question.
At he Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, back in June:
Trump, who told CNN earlier that he is both anti-abortion and anti-same-sex marriage, said people are surprised to learn about his Christian faith.
"People are so shocked when they find ... out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church," he said.
Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.
"I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."
Trump said that while he hasn't asked God for forgiveness, he does participate in Holy Communion.
"When I drink my little wine -- which is about the only wine I drink -- and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed," he said. "I think in terms of 'let's go on and let's make it right.'"
As an aside, Trump has both supported partial birth abortion and just this weekend floated naming a pro-abort as his vice-presidential choice.

No secret I don’t like Trump but his relationship with God is between him and God. Not him, God and Frank Luntz.

So far, Trump has supported both financially and verbally candidates and policies that are 180 degrees from Biblical teaching. He is a fraud, controlled by greed, and worships only himself.
Not to mention three “marriages”, I believe Ivanka is still alive and kicking.

even agnostics and atheists are going to examine his so called logic and find him dearly LACKING!

I heard this morning that if we had a minute of silence for each baby that has been aborted since Rowe Vs Wade.... that we would be silent for 100 years. America needs forgiveness.... even if Donald Trump doesn’t.
God doesn’t read polls.
This level of deception by Cruz and his supporters needs to stop.
Here’s the T-R-U-T-H about Scott Brown. Trump was speaking at his No BS BBQ yesterday, which several other candidates have already done, and more will in the future.
A young girl in the audience asked Trump if she could come up on stage and take a selfie with him. Scott Brown said, no. Probably because he was the host and maybe concerned with security. I don’t know.
Then Trump overrode Brown and let the girl come up on stage and get her selfie. The audience booed Brown for not letting the girl come up on stage. While that was going on, Trump said, Well, if Scott were running for office, he would let her come up. Audience laughter.
Then Trump asked Brown if he was going to be running for office again.
Immediately someone from the audience yelled out, how about as your VP to Trump?
Then, Trump, because he has good manners, said something complimentary, like ‘yeah, yeah, that would be a good idea’ as opposed to saying to the audience member, are you kidding me? why would I ever consider this guy,thus insulting the host who was showing Trump his hospitality.
And this becomes Trump floating SCott Brown as his VP.
Desperate.
How many more hit pieces to you all think you can find today?

It is between him and God. I would not not vote for him just because he thinks he merits favor with God and obviously does not understand the gospel at all. I won’t vote for him because he is too liberal, too arrogant, and too much of a bully. I want a strong, faithful, Constitution understanding, honest candidate. I do not define strong as someone who uses every rotten trick and scheme to get his way, slandering anyone who gets in his way.
TAPPER: Do you regret making that remark (about not asking God for forgiveness)?
TRUMP: No. I have a great relationship with God.
