In the same interview, Trump was again asked if he felt more aligned with Democrats or Republicans.
“I’m very much independent in that way. I go for the person, not necessarily the party. I mean, I vote for Republicans and I vote for Democrats,†he said.

When Pelosi stepped in as Speaker, the federal budget deficit was $156 billion and falling. In just three short years, Pelosi would reverse the trend, increasing the deficit tenfold. at the same time, they intentionally drove the economy into the toilet just to set the stage for a Democrat President.
