That's why I stated that Cruz's "New York" comment is of the same caliber as Romney's "lower 47%" comment. From debate-star Cruz, I surprised. One never should attribute to a whole group characteristics of some of the group.
What's not going away is the timing. Cruz condemning New York values at the same time we learn that he has that Goldman Sachs loan to be grateful for. That loan which super-intelligent Cruz forgot to mention in the narrative he built for himself.
I know it's hearbreak when you commit to a candidate. Accept it, come on over and have some FUN with this primary season. Your candidate's narrative has crumbled and he' just not who he seemed to be.
Not to be outdone, attempting to prove if Cruz can cast an insult Trump can insult better, Stupid (trumps) NY values.
The meaning of NY Values has a vast amount of wiggle room, but STUPID not so much.

What is a “Cruzbot?” I am a Cruz supporter because I agree with his unwavering support of the Constitution and have observed his almost solitary (if not for Mike Lee), principled stands in the Senate. Cruz is my first choice for the nomination, followed by Trump - because all the rest have shown themselves to be GOPe tools. How does that make one mindless, or a “bot” as you call it?
Easy peasy after Cruz stepped in it. All Cruz had to do was say during the debate what he has since “apologized” for...New York “liberal” values along the lines of as hiker, DeBlasio, etc., etc.....would have made the point he was trying to make about Trump and probably gained him points. Now he’s taking value able campaign time answering questions about this instead of why he’s different or better than Trump.
You are certainly not a "bot", but those who have invested all of their resources and hope in one candidate with questionable conservative credentials certainly fill that bill.
A reasoned response like yours was once normal on FreeRepublic. Lately, however, this forum has come to resemble the “shout-down” flavor of leftist sites like Democratic Underground, where free exchanges of ideas are not tolerated. I am more interested in building alliances based on shared ideas than alienating new enemies with personal insults. We are going to need each other in many battles ahead.
