Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,693 registered Republican voters in the U.S. regarding the performance of the candidates during the Fox Business News primary debate. The poll has a margin of error of ± 2.4%. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology) and weighted by voting demographics. The poll was conducted for One America News Network.

The Horse race looks pretty much like the running national poll numbers doesn’t it?

No matter how you look at the numbers they favor Trump as always.

Note: No participant from a Frank Luntz Focus Group was harmed in the making of this poll. ;-)

That seems about right.

It’s biased towards Trump supporters, which is also correct.

Cruz at a strong #2.

Rubio at a decent #3.

Everyone else a loser.

This poll is correct, and I support Cruz. Trump won (not trounced). Cruz had only one bad segment that knocked him down to second place, yet had many good moments.

.. Republicans are demanding a candidate with very strong leadership qualities,, Trump has that in spades.. Cruz has never lead anyone anywhere and comes across as meek and mild..Cruz’s strategy(and we all said this 6 months ago)was that Trump would implode during the fall months and he’d take over.. Trump hasn’t... it’s that simple

I was more referring to the poll numbers than the debate itself which Cruz did fine,, Rubio did catch Cruz in a bunch of flip fops at the end that landed pretty well too

You’re right. The more interesting question is if Trump’s presence and success has helped more than hurt Cruz. Imagine a race without Trump. Would Rubio or Bush be effectively challenging?

I watched, Trump and Cruz both did well and Rubio did OK. Trump proved he can keep his lead by not faltering. Cruz show he is an excellent debater, but didn’t change his place as second. I’m a Cruz fan, but am OK with Trump. Rubio is the GOPe last hope as Jeb is dead. Carson showed he is only qualified for a post as Secretary in some harmless federal cabinet agency.

IMO Cruz came out the loser on his back and forth with Rubio. Between that and the NY moment not his best night.

Yeah. The Luntz focus group was unanimous in declaring Cruz the winner.

Cruz was forceful, knowledgeable and presidential. Trump looked like an amateur in comparison.

Ted’s best moments were his humiliation of Trump regarding the birther nonsense and his 2A answer.

That was my position until about a week ago. The Blowhard Trumpets have done enough damage now. I now will support the most conservative 3rd party candidate .

IF they want to be duped, that's there business. But not me.
