Liberal use it to indicate that there is a consensus on this issue where none exists.
The term was, for all intents and purposes, invented by Thomas Paine âa libertarian conservative. Liberals co-opt it today to indicate a consensus where none exists.
Here are a few of the things that I would like to hear some or all of our own candidates talking about:
"Common Sense Abortion Laws"
"Common Sense Islamic Terrorism Policies"
"Common Sense School Choice"
"Common Sense Religious Liberty Protections"
"Common Sense Tax Codes"
"Common Sense Free Speech Protection"
"Common Sense Entitlement Reform"
"Common Sense Border Security"
The list goes on. Feel free to add to it.
They’ll have a lot of embarrassing things to answer under oath. I can’t imagine they’ll want to carry through with this.
Common Sense Politicians.
I know, it’s an oxymoron.
My recollection is they released and edited version and the unedited versions concurrently or within a week. Gee, I wonder why they filed in San Francisco? Snowballs chance in hades. Lets see if the main stream investigative journalists cry foul and file Amicus Briefs. Too bad they are spending our tax dollars not only on abortion, but on this frivolous lawsuit.
That phrase “common sense” is used as a philosophical moniker to paint the picture that for whatever the subject is all should AGREE.... because it’s basic “wisdom” and “sound judgement”.
Libs are liars first, and in reality they hate equality.
I like your idea BTW! Maybe it’ll change the way some of the idiot voters think—but doubtful.
Crazy! They had the MSM pretty much ignore the videos, but now it will be much harder.
The whole point is to silence and financially destroy the opposition. It’s the same tactic Michael Mann is using against Mark Steyn. He’s into 7 figures for his defense.
God Yes! Let the videos and questioning come full force.
