Mark Levin has been trying to stay out of the conflict between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. He says he likes both men and has both on his show. But as Trump has escalated his birther attacks on Cruz, Levin has spent hours of airtime defending Cruz against these arguments...while studiously not mentioning who is making these arguments.
Well, it looks as though Levin has finally had enough, because ConservativeReview.com, of which he is editor in chief, has published a piece (that Levin has tweeted a link to) that exposes Donald Trump's political inconsistencies, point by point.
Entitled Trump's Questionable Political History, the article talks about how Trump met with illegal alien activists in 2013 and said he was "convinced" to support amnesty. The article also quotes Trump saying he wanted to "expedite" the return of illegal aliens into the country and notes a quote that Trump simply had no opinion either way on the "Gang of 8" amnesty bill that Marco Rubio is being so criticized for.
The article also cites how on September 8 of last year, Trump was for bringing in Syrian refugees, but he changed his mind on the 9th.
Here's what author Daniel Horowitz also wrote:
Conservatives need to know if Donald Trump is really the man who will put Americans first and demolish the "dummies" in Washington or if his lack of a coherent philosophy will lead him to reflexively parrot the very politically correct talking points he so vehemently assails and yet has so often adopted. Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points

Did someone say something about jumping a shark?
Now it looks as if there's a very real possibility they'll sling so much mud at each other over the next couple of weeks that a RINO (Jeb's in 3rd place} could slide into the winner's circle.
Re:”A lot of FR liberals- personal attacks on Levin, nothing on substance”
Are you surprised?
When Obama gets criticized they scream RACISM.
Now when Trump gets criticized they whine about trump derangement syndrome.
It will never end.
They simply take the next issue and morph the same old crap to fit their anger.
I am convinced liberals have infested this website.
I agree with what you wrote, except I did not consider myself arguing that the “other side” does it; I was just shocked that the person could not see it or refused to admit it.
Ping....might find this interesting/amusing
“Cruz would never have brought up immigration himself and thatâs whatâs killing america”
Fact is, if it were not for Trump, NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, including the media, Hannity, Levin or Rush would be talking about immigration or trade fiasco’s like TPA/TPP. You wouldn’t hear a word in the debates.
Trump listens. Evidently the ONLY one in politics today, other than Jeff Sessions, willing to put his ASS on the line to tell you the truth is Donald Trump.
He LISTENS...and evidently he listened in 2004, during the debates of the presidential race when Bob Shieffer of CBS stated that the most questions he got from the PUBLIC to ask the candidates was about.....
IMMIGRATION!
2004!
THAT is how long we have all been ignored, until Donald Trump!
SCHIEFFER: Let’s go to a new question, Mr. President.
I got more e-mail this week on this question than any other question. And it is about immigration.
(PS....if you really want to see what BSers both Bush and Kerry are, take a look at their answers in that debate to the ONE immigration question!

Re:”Trump is no conservative. We all agree”
You are right on the first point.
Not so much on the second.
Ever read “The True Believer” by Eric Hoffer?
Well, everybody knows Conservative Review is GOPe, right?
After all, the Trump people keep telling us that there are no inconsistencies or progressive tendencies in his record, and that only the Establishment claims there are. So Conservative Review must be RINO.
Obviously!
Mark Levin has turned into another Glenn Beck.
A one-dimensional, biased blowhard who spends half his show pimping either his books or Conservative Review. (or in Glennâs case, Goldline).
>>>>>>>>
This response is so lame
There will soon be no one left in your world who can say what they think without magically turning into a Rino
The headline is making everyone’s knees jerk.
Levin is clearly not ‘Declaring War’ on Trump.
Levin merely penned a point-by-point rebuttal. I haven’t seen it, but that’s what this article says. Since when is a rebuttal ‘war’?
More Headlies, but from our side this time. The headline doesn’t match the facts. I hate this stuff.
That's what liberal Establishment types do. And their minions. And it's SOP for the Trumpkins.
No one is safe

But don't. You don't question the Great and Mighty Trump.
Re:”Each day I recognize this site less & less...”
Ditto.
Nice photos of Reagan, and the meerkat also.
BWAAAAAHAHAHA, Mark Levin the conservative oracle for so many of us for so many years hammers Trump with the truth and he’s a traitor to the conservative cause, he’s beholden to “special interests”, he’s a fake, a liar and a probable pedophile.
If nothing else you Trumpees are truely entertaining to watch.
“the article talks about how Trump met with illegal alien activists in 2013 and said he was “convinced” to support amnesty.”
Never heard that...link please...with your exact verbage.
Exactly.
No wall, no future.
I consider Mark Levin to be one of the most staunch and intelligent conservatives out there. I truly respect his legal mind. It is no secret that he has been a Cruz supporter. I am too. I have seen a lot of hatred lately on our beloved Free Republic between the Trump supporters and the Cruz supporters. I want Cruz to be president more than anything. I had believed up to this point that Trump was paving the way for Cruz by getting the RINOs to drop out of the campaign. Trump’s talk of Cruz’ eligibility puts the issue out there before the left can make an issue of it. Nikki Haley’s BS rebuttal the other night was a clear indicator that the GOP-e is in full panic and attack mode. Her job was to rebut Obama, not attack a GOP candidate. Both the left and GOP-e want us to get distracted with crap so that either Hillary or a RINO like Bush gets elected. Please people. We can debate. We can disagree. But we have to keep our eye on the prize. Trump is by no means a conservative, but I would rather have him as president than what we now have or Hillary or the cheesy old socialist.
I know Levin never really dove into the Obama birther issue. And even after listening to his Cruz eligibility monologue, I am still not entirely convinced of Cruz being a ‘natural born citizen’, but since Obama is clearly not eligible, I do not care if Cruz does not meet the standard. Cruz loves America. He is not a marxist and he is not a muslim. I believe he will do the best for America.
All I am saying is let’s not get caught up in petty stuff and let this election get away from us. The picture of our sailors on their knees that the Iranians put out there is eerily reminiscent of 1980. That bastard Obama did not even mention this in his SOTU. Right now, I care about salvaging what’s left of our country.
Let me spell it out for you odawg. I’m not against Trump. Nor do I think he is mentally ill. I am against his weasel concern troll way of attacking other Republican candidates. He weighs into every damn thing that comes up with that “helpful” advice for them. I’ve seen people like that in many places. They’re cancerous, just like my “spamming” to demonstrate what Trump does was cancerous today. I think there is redemption for Trump, I’ll take him over any Democrat. But his modus operandi of weaselly concern trolling demeans him and demeans the conservative movement.
Why doesn’t he act like a real man and say what he thinks right away instead of using weasel language?
