Mark Levin has been trying to stay out of the conflict between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. He says he likes both men and has both on his show. But as Trump has escalated his birther attacks on Cruz, Levin has spent hours of airtime defending Cruz against these arguments...while studiously not mentioning who is making these arguments.
Well, it looks as though Levin has finally had enough, because ConservativeReview.com, of which he is editor in chief, has published a piece (that Levin has tweeted a link to) that exposes Donald Trump's political inconsistencies, point by point.
Entitled Trump's Questionable Political History, the article talks about how Trump met with illegal alien activists in 2013 and said he was "convinced" to support amnesty. The article also quotes Trump saying he wanted to "expedite" the return of illegal aliens into the country and notes a quote that Trump simply had no opinion either way on the "Gang of 8" amnesty bill that Marco Rubio is being so criticized for.
The article also cites how on September 8 of last year, Trump was for bringing in Syrian refugees, but he changed his mind on the 9th.
Here's what author Daniel Horowitz also wrote:
Conservatives need to know if Donald Trump is really the man who will put Americans first and demolish the "dummies" in Washington or if his lack of a coherent philosophy will lead him to reflexively parrot the very politically correct talking points he so vehemently assails and yet has so often adopted. Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points

Is there some requirement that all FReepers have to agree and like talk show hosts?
You know, I can barely stave off my anticipation in proving you wrong on all counts - just so I can thoroughly rub your face in the mire that you and your cohorts have so enthusiastically created on FR.
I have been gracious to Senator Cruz, even in my disputes over some of his positions and ability to win the presidency ... And I will STILL support the man, should he win the nomination, despite all the condescending, arrogant, intellectually dishonest, and outright hostile rants that I read on these threads.
But that is the difference between us ... The more I read through these posts, and the natural back and forth that goes on, the more I am convinced that the ones who are OTT in their disgusting characterizations of other FReepers are those who claim themselves supporters of Senator Cruz.
Even as I know that not all of his supporters are prone to such infamy, you who seemingly the most enjoy making crude and belittling commentary are disgusting and doing great damage to the mutual courtesy that has typified FR. You do your candidate a dis-service - and I hope you realize that.
OK, genius - Jim Robinson supports Mr. Trump & Senator Cruz ... Is he a liberal too? You people are really going over the edge with your foolishness.
Wow! You get the prize for the best post on this thread! A sincere “THANKS” for the explanation!
LOL! Good one.
***I know Levin never really dove into the Obama birther issue. And even after listening to his Cruz eligibility monologue, I am still not entirely convinced of Cruz being a ânatural born citizenâ, but since Obama is clearly not eligible, I do not care if Cruz does not meet the standard.***
So if it’s one of “our guys” we just overlook it? It’s ok? So if Conservatives commit abortions it’s ok because she’s one of ours? Come on now. If that is how far we’ve sank then what are we trying to save?
You need to do your research.
From where did you pull that out that one? Since YOU brought it up, Mark Levin is my favorite talk show host...former Chief Of Staff to Reagan’s Attorney General...a true constitutional conservative. He has a daily thread here & the beginning of this thread has him being pilloried by Trumpers/birthers, etc. Who do you like? Alan Colmes?
I’m almost afraid to read this thread. Kerry might make me surrender.
Oh, you people.
I hope your Deity, Donald Trump, does not disappoint you. You will drop him as fast as you dropped your real friends, Levin and Rush.
If you’ve ever listened to Mark, his dogs are like kids to him as they are to many dog lovers. My husband was that way.
Making fun of him for caring about his dog’s death won’t set well with the dog lovers here.

I am tempted to agree with you.
The worship of Trump on this site is a little scary.
Their man is way ahead but they’re still furious that anybody, anywhere could question anything about him or bring up anything that might be less than worshipful.
If you don’t believe me, go to a thread reporting on a Trump appearance. It’s like a tent meeting. The same people post over and over. “Oh, isn’t he wonderful.” “Yes,he is, I love him so much.”
I mean that’s kinda sweet but we’re supposed to be grownups here and realists.
There are things I like about Trump but geeze.
Increasing his audience? You mean because he’s only #4 in the country?

Thank you for not throwing a long-time friend to the wolves for his opinion.
That makes you One.
You totally missed the point. It is fine to take “issue” with the great one, but the Trumpsters on FR that call him mentally ill just follow the liberal play book. disgraceful.
Been here almost 12 years (which did cover a couple of presidential elections) & don’t recall it being this bad...
kabar, it will happen. It has to go through the attorney general and we know what she is.
As for Cruz, I do expect him to go after Hillary hard if he gets the nomination.
I really like Cruz.
I’m okay with Trump also but I like to have a little fun with some of his supporters.
Oh c’mon. You know that’s not true. Febreeze works on anything.
I’ve had enough of Levin at times
Neo abolitionist
And not exactly impartial
