Mom Becca Edwards is "pissed" about a racist remark that her state's governor made, and she's calling him out on it, offering her own biracial family as an example of how very wrong he is.
Maine Gov. Paul LePage issued his offensive comment at a town hall meeting in Bridgton on Jan. 6 while speaking about the influx of heroin in the Pine Tree State. "These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty -- these types of guys -- they come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, they go back home," the Republican blasted.
"Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road."
Though the crowd at the town meeting didn't immediately react, social media's response was swift -- and seething. The Portland Press Herald reports that Marlon Marshall, Hillary Clinton's director of state campaigns and political engagement, issued a statement calling LePage's comments "racist rants," while Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett dubbed them "outrageous" and Michael Tyler, the Democratic National Committee's director of African-American media, declared them "disgusting."
But in Edwards's now-viral Facebook response, the self-described "white girl in Maine," took it one step further and called for LePage's ouster. "Last week the governor in Maine, my state, suggested to the world that if one were to see me (the white girl) and my daughter (the biracial girl) walking down the street, that she is a product of my involvement with a drug dealer from out of state. And even worse, that she wasn't wanted," wrote the mother in her Jan. 9 post, which has been shared more than 216,000 times in just two days.

You have your opinion and I asked how you came to that opinion, which you refuse t answer, because we all know you think the woman and kid is beautiful based on what they look like, i.e. white woman, half white kid.
Do you seriously not understand that and how prejudice it is? For all you know this woman could be a serial killer on welfare and yet you state they are a beautiful family based on what they look like.
I guarantee that if it were a white woman with a white kid you would not have said what you did.
When he said “a problem down the road”, to me, that could have meant abortion or being a single parent home. He’s the governor and would likely know.

LePage is not among that group of Whites and "minorities" but does describe the consequences of predominant Black political loyalties.

In the 1950s, black children had a 52 percent chance of living with both their biological parents until age seventeen; by the 1980s those odds had dwindled to a mere 6 percent. In 1959, only 2 percent of black children were reared in households in which the mother never married; today that figure approaches 60 percent.
Of course Leftist like O'Neill and Edwards want to shut LePage up.

Heroin has apparently killed a lot of people, I’d like to see the stats state by state but in some places, it is an epidemic and the pushers are murderers and doing the work for people like Chapo.

The truth ! Nowhere is this more on display than on facebook. If there is a picture of a white woman with a black man and a biracial kid with nothing particularly attractive about the kid, the compliments come flooding in. "Oh what a beautiful family!", "Oh what a beautiful child".. "Oh you are so lucky to have such a beautiful family".."Just gorgeous".. and on and on, with likes numbering in the 100s or 200s. Most of the likers are white liberals and you know that they are doing it for no other reason other than to say 'I am a good liberal, I suffer from white guilt.. I want you to understand I don't discriminate and I have no objection to an interracial family. And please please forgive me for being white and all the wrongs my people have done to yours". It's almost nauseating to watch.
How inspirational it is to see such an eloquent and gentle admonition.
