How does Iran spell relief? K E R R Y.
Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters at the State Department that the lifting of sanctions on Iran is just "days away." The $150 billion windfall for the terrorist state will happen "sooner rather than later," Kerry said.
Meanwhile, there will be a vote in the House next week that would prevent the administration from lifting sanctions on Iranian banks and financial institutions unless the administration can certify that the companies are not financing terrorism or ballistic missiles.
The Hill:
According to reports, the White House has backed away from an initial plan to levy new sanctions in retaliation for the missile tests, which are considered to be likely violations of United Nations sanctions.
âThere was an intention â Congress had been notified or the indication was that this action was going to be taken,â House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-Calif.) said this week. âAnd then the decision was made, after pushback from Iran, not to go forward.â
âThe question here is one of pushback, given the violation of the U.N. sanctions,â Royce said, during a markup of the bill on Thursday.
You can bet the CIA knows which banks are being used as conduits for terrorism financing and developing Iran's missile program. They're mostly the same institutions that were funding the nuclear program. But the administration will stop at nothing to cement the nuclear deal and will do everything to keep Iran from scuttling the agreement.
Iran has Obama over a barrel. Not because of any geopolitical advantage but because the Iran deal is Obama's crowning achievement and a large part of his legacy. The sad fact is, Obama cares more about his place in the history books than he does US national security.

I’ve never seen such incompetence as this regime.
Treason !!!!! pure and simple .
I’m sure the folks who helped make this happen can’t wait to make a buck doing business with Iran.
They bought Senator Bob Corker with his Corker Bill to enable this to happen since Corker’s bill redefined the Iran Nuke Deal to be approved unless 2/3 of the Senate objected instead of the usual 1/3 in treaty agreements.
Corker and the Republicans Congress, were great enablers of Obama again.
The Uniparty System is about to achieve a great victory for big corporations like Boeing and Airbus who want to trade with Iran.
As for the nukes and Iran, I don’t know all the answers.
Military industrial complex companies like those above do business with the whole region threatened by Iran’s possession of nukes. They also work with Israel which is testing anti-ballistic missile systems now.
They may make more bucks selling the Saudis and Gulf Arabs weapons systems to deal with Iran’s eventual possession of nuclear weapons.
The Saudis are poking Iran in the eye right now with support for jihadis in the Syrian Civil War, thanks for helping to create IS. They are also going after Iran in the Yemeni Civil War. The US appears to support both giving the Saudis munitions to fight in Yemen.
The main thrust of Obama’s foreign policy with Iran resembles what Republicans Nixon, Ford and Kissinger did with the Soviets in the 1970’s. APPPEASEMENT AND CONTAINMENT
The GOPe appears to be supporting it with one hand and demonizing Obama’s weakness with its propaganda machine.
I beg to differ. The incompetence I am seeing does not come from the White House, but from the hallowed halls of congress. Obama and his administration have very skillfully our foxed at every turn the cowards we elected to stop him.
Since 2011, the Republicans have given Obama every damn thing he wanted.
THEY are the gang that cannot shoot straight, not dear leader.
Good thing we elected Republicans in 2014 so they could cut funding for this. Oh whoops!

Obama's continuing Iranian appeasement: The next president must reverse course
If you read my post #4, I don’t see incompetence behind this, I see $pecial Interest$ buying both parties so they can make a buck with sanctions lifted and Iranian money frozen in banks freed.
Its the old Rockefeller Liberal Republican Way of free trade and free markets worldwide mixed with political posturing and demonizing of Obama as the ‘appeaser of Iran’ when they are in on the deal as well for the benefit of big business.
Our politicians are absolutely positively bought and paid for both parties which seems to be behind Phyllis Schlafly saying in her Breitbart interview only Trump as President could resist their lobbying for policy.
I still support Cruz, but she said all the rest other than Trump can be bought by the ‘donor class’ of rich elite business and banking types.
Where does Obama/Kerry get the authority to give the Iranians all that money with no one signing on the Red Line ?
I have a question. I am assuming that the $150 billion isn’t buried in some backyard. So, what is taking that much out of our economy going to do to the stock market, real estate market, banking industries?
You can be assured that there will be Wall Street money men connected to both parties who will make immense profits once this money is freed up for the Iranians. Obama may have an interest in propping up an anti-American regime but I think the motivation for Congress is tried and true greed.
Very good mr kerry; I'm sure all our friends in Israel will be very pleased that this delusional 'deal' will now prevent mushrooms from popping up outside their windows. And very good mr kerry; I'm sure we here in the United States will also rest better each night knowing that we won't see mushrooms popping up outside our windows either.
